Fabulous shots of those trees , I was there later in the day ,the water was like glass but it made the shot too busy without a filter there were a lot of clouds

I look out for and enjoy your vlogs Brett. What beautiful scenery. As a keen landscape photographer from the UK I have a NZ trip on my bucket list. With having family there I should really make it happen. All the best. 😊

I love how the willow trees height mimics the background mountains - high to low. Just wondering Brett, have you been around to the end of the willow trees and taken photos looking back the other way to the bridge? Is there a track? I really like these images.

The light might not have been very good, but I think that you were very lucky that the lake is so low so u were able to get so close to those trees. When I was there the lake was extremely high in the water level so you couldn’t get close to the trees at all. It was almost impossible to get a shot because of the overhanging branches on the bank. It’s a beautiful location no matter when you go don’t you agree.

@@bethwodephotography yep you can pretty much always make a good photo anywhere if you adapt to suit the conditions. Glenorchy is always good.

Hi Brett. Enjoyed your video very much. I'm heading to Glenorchy in September (first trip to NZ). Can you tell me if sunset or sunrise (I'm thinking sun position) is the best time to photograph the scene 6'38" into the video. Thanks so much. Paul.
