    Hey Ed, the Resco Biem Elvis Presley LPM-1254 record was made exclusively for soldiers stationed in Germany in the late 50’s. Around the time when Elvis was there actually. Very cool. They pressed a lot of Elvis’ early singles and LP’s for those releases. Hope that helps!

    I'm the one that bought the 6 FTD Lp's. Paid I think $65 a piece. Got behind on the FTD vinyl...but damn the prices for the other FTD's are ridiculous! As are the prices for the rest on that list you read.

    Good informative show, and what I’ve noticed regarding the movie soundtracks that include a photo and have the actual hype sticker on the shrink, collectors are paying big money and just for the hype sticker. If you are a collector who has to have every detail of the actual release, I’m sure they are glad to come across these as when most folks open up albums they toss the shrink, stickers and all. People always thought I was a little off because any purchase I made I would always save the shrink, should it have stickers or cut well around it and place it in plastic while keeping it with the album.

    Crazy Far out prices in the old u.s of a. I've had a ball on the UK site with a few vinyl purchases that arrived this week. 50 years 50 Hits, golden records 1997 simply vinyl version, Elvis at his best and Legendary Concert Performances. I love those compilations. If I ever won the Lottery Ed I'd definitely be on the U.S eBay and spent the lot.🤣. Stay safe bud

    LOC-1035 didn't come in shrink unless the store put a baggy on it. I noticed a couple weeks ago more than one Aloha Chicken of the Sea up for bid at the same time. What are the odds? I'm not saying, just saying.

    That's funny and a little bit crazy. Will have the later FTD vinyl releases the same performance as the first ones in 15 years? I don't think so.

    The people bidding on these need to shop around some. They lock in on one place to buy. Especially when they have that FU-n money. The 60s sounds tracks even sealed shouldn't bring more that $200.00. Why all this big sales. Doesn't make since

    • @henknuwolt6272
      @henknuwolt6272 Před 2 lety +1

      Because it is Elvis, and some of these records are very hard to find , and t the prices go sky high , when you do find them, it makes perfect sense to me.

    • @FrankieLovesElvis
      @FrankieLovesElvis Před rokem +1

      @@henknuwolt6272 All the early Elvis records and albums are becoming extinct. Most kids Back then played their records, not thinking 60 years later they were gonna be worth anything. Somehow we as collectors seen to forget about the “music”! Rather than the investment.

    Ebay sellers type in there own numbers to show amount of bids, that's how they hook you, the person thinks "45 bids it must be legit" and the person bids a little more to buy the item. Big scam, I seen a guy with his own shrink wrap machine and "factory sealing"his vinyls.

    • @epgoldenage7049
      @epgoldenage7049 Před 2 lety +1

      Glenn, I had a FB friend purchase some "sealed" copies and the vinyl had severe spindle wear, scratches etc.
