PRISTINE & EPIC 1998 Schindler 321A Low-Pitched HT Hydraulic Elevator - Carle Place, NY

EPIC MOTOR WEEK 1 of 5! A consecutive five-day extravaganza of nothing but some of the best hydraulic motors! Note, these are also particularly busy elevators, so these takes are a lot easier and keep it true to the motors.
Installed in 1998. Located at the Macy*s store.
A PRISTINE, UNALTERED Schindler 321A! Notice the controller behavior atypical of 330As (lantern illuminates upon arrival and you must press call button to get it to chime). These chimes are believed to be a prototype of even the low-pitched HT we know of - unless, alternatively, it's some type of freak glitch. I'd like to believe the former over the latter...

Beautiful motor. I remember seeing a video about a year ago of these chimes being changed to a higher pitch, but still being lower than normal.

This is definitely a very well preserved piece of hydraulic elevator technology from Schindler elevator. I can guarantee you that there will never be another 321A in such pristine condition like this one.
