So, turns out I made a pretty big boo-boo. In the video, I said Matt Brady was the one did all the concept art when really, it was a combination of him and Lachlan Creagh, who not only did the animation for the first game but also a lot of concept art. in an email response, he explained that towards the end of production one of the production managers insisted everyone got only one credit to their name. Lachlan did a lot of the concept art early on before becoming an animator, but because of the strict mandate, he ended up only getting credited as an animator and not also as a concept artist. My apologies to Lachlan for not clarifying this. At the time, I didn't think to double check with my sources as to who did what, and I credited DAH Tribute for the concept art because he was the one who sent it. I didn't know Lachlan did most of the art because again, I didn't double-check. I'm going to leave the video up for the time being, but I plan on making a new version sometime down the road with the mistakes fixed, plus some new stuff.

Really great video! I loved the first two games as a kid so of course I was excited to hear they were remaking DAH! and beyond excited when they announced DAH! 2, it’s one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoyed Big Willy and Path of the Furon as well. It’s also funny how you mentioned about getting an Xbox 360 for Path of the Furon because that was the same reason for me too. So glad that THQNordic decided to relaunch the franchise, I’m hoping Reprobed has just a big success as the first remake to make a brand new sequel.

Wow! Only after the first two games the series went on a downward spiral. The humor in the first two games was amazing so it is jarring how quickly into the series that the default humor was juvenile dirty puns and jokes. I got interested in the series after remembering seeing videos from Jacksepticeye about the PS2 versions. Then, I played the demo for the remake of the second game on PS5. It's ridiculously fun and gives a good taste of the game also the art direction only adds to the already funny moments. Also, it is addicting hearing Crypto talk. He sounds serious, emotionally volatile and sarcastic simultaneously. It makes him come across as both alien and charming.
tbh this whole 8chan thing put THQnordic on the map for me and I enjoyed their releases ever since The only negative part about those DAH remakes is the censored content: - removed Crypto voice lines during the Miss Rockwell abduction - removed mission about gender switching in DAH2

Great video! Haven't played a DAH game in over 10 years but this makes me want to pick up the remakes and take a trip down nostalgia lane! I had heard that Path of the Furon wasn't good, so I never did play it. I thought it was interesting getting more of a background behind why it wasn't good and what made it that way
huge fan of the whole series i beat the second remakes main story on the highest difficulty i am that good also i cried when the second remake trailer came out last year
1:21:05 I truly wish it stayed true to its gimmicky format. It had moments of usefulness, but for me, it nailed fun the most. It wasn't all about being combat effective, it was about how satisfying it was to lasso toss a tank flying into the water, or feeling the crush of a car on top of something! The remake has this floaty, fake, unresponsive outcome to what my brain wants to happen. I understand damage was their sole focus this time around, but I wish they leaned more into this game being a goofy sandbox that wasn't all damage numbers

Personally, I still consider _Big Willy Unleashed_ to be canon, I don't care what the wiki says. I also would've liked you to briefly touch on the mobile games. Apart from that, this was a great video and a very interesting history of one of my favorite franchises. I just wish _Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed_ wasn't so buggy.

Dude! Squid Crypto is so COOL!!! That would have been an epic addition! Functionally, it gives the character a second wind in a sense to keep Crypto alive and heightens the utility and importance of the saucer. I think the concept makes great sense
I did not know Tom was the voice of The Freak...I never paid attention to credits, and as a kid I just thought they got some random voice actor like most...but to now know it was one of the writers themselves? That makes this game all the more of a great memory, as I personally enjoyed talking to The Freak lol he was weird and goofy but an enjoyable escape from the story early on that provided continued laughs

Learnt a lot about Big Willy Released & Path of the Furon (neither I had noticed ever came out) & thinking that if (to answer the never-ending question on Facebook) another Destroy All Humans was to be made a reimagined version of Path of the Furon would be the more logical way to go but THQ Nordic would need more control over the time given & budget available like they were lucky to get for remaking Destroy All Humans 1 & 2. I like the cheesy storyline of after all this time there was another Furon out there wreaking havok on everything it's like a huge slap in the face for Pox & Crypto lol Got both the remakes & not laughed so much playing a video game since South Park: The Stick of Truth. Once again this video was brilliant 👏

There was also a Mobile game that came out maybe before POF because it was set in Las Vegas. I hope the series will continue now with a proper 3rd installment, maybe the 80’s?

Back in 2017 I bought the first two games and POTF online and then played through and basically 100% Path if the furon. I really enjoyed it especially as someone who didn't own the others until then. It was the first DAH! game I beat. The remakes are both fantastic and I'm excited to see what they do next and if POTF will ever return. These games started my live of goody satirical games that I continue to live to this day. If I knew POTF existed back when in the heyday of 360 I would have went crazy.
POTF, in spite of its issues great and small, will always have a soft spot in my heart because it was the main reason I wanted an Xbox 360. It's got a lot of great ideas, it just needed more time in the oven. It'll be interesting to see what happens next with the series, that's for sure.

I love the idea of playing as the bad guy aliens. I love the Invader Zim voice. But I really don't like the social commentary aspect. It seems mean-spirited, like the people making it have this big giant hate-boner for the 1950s despite the fact that they weren't alive back then. Also, the stealth gameplay in the first game is awful. I don't want to sneak around and avoid detection. I want to blast things with my pew pew lasers. Why isn't the game letting me just do the stuff that's fun!?
I also feel like path of a furon needs a remake ik people say it's not the best game... but I enjoyed it I love the game play and jokes plus I feel like the game needs another chance

This documentary was being worked on before Reprobed’s release, so that’s probably why it doesn’t go over the release

The first version I played of path of the furon was the ps3 version. I beat it, but damn did it make it difficult

I thought of DAH like Mercenaries but rethought and reskinned. You can even slingshot cars just like Mercenaries.
I love this game and the original copy still holds up even if there is also a remake.
