Here's a compilation video full of scary animal encounters, attacks, charges and interactions with hunters. You will watch people who are hunting come across wild animals like bears, sharks, tigers, hippos, crocodiles, alligators, anacondas (snakes), mountain lions (cougars) and more.
In this video, we show a variety of animal encounter clips from rhino charges, elephant attacks, bear luff charges, cheetah close calls, sharg cage diving clips and more.
Luckily, these interactions in between humans and wildlife were caught on camera for the world to see. The outdoors can definitely be a chilling place for hikers, campers, hunters and mountain bikers if you don't come prepared and armed with a gun/rifle or bear spray.

"Two men hunting in a swamp in southern Florida see something unexpected. An alligator." Really? Unexpected? LOL. It's a swamp. In southern Florida.
Unprepared hunters who were totally ignorant about their surroundings. That guy decided to shoot at the "unexpected" alligator. Save your ammunition and learn something.

I worked as a safari guide for ten years. Rule number one when confronted by a lion. DO NOT RUN! It is an invitation to chase, and they run MUCH faster.
@Apaul...So, what do you suggest as an alternative?🤔Stand your ground and let the lion maul you as you’re facing him trying to appear large? Good one!😂😂
@@Rixster53 There is much less chance of being attacked if you stand your ground. The number one rule in that situation is DO NOT RUN!
Yeah, that surprised me as well. In the movies people outrun wolves, lions, and even spiders the size of a Volkswagen beetle. In real life just about everything can catch the fastest human in mere seconds. If you run you're either prey or a threat. In both cases you are become something to attack. Most animals will at least pause to access the situation if you stand your ground or back away slowly while facing them. It's seen as being neutral-neither threat or something to eat.
Qaaqqq+aq+aqaqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqaaqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqaqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
In California USA my grown daughter and I once caught sight of a mountain lion while hiking in the mountains. It quickly noticed us and charged, covering 30 meters in a flash. We stood tall, waved our arms and yelled at it, even advancing a step toward it. It stopped maybe 5 meters away and stared at us, then we SLOWLY backed away, all the time yelling at it. We were stressed, but unharmed. NEVER run from a cat, that is how people get eaten. We now tells friends we are Team Not Eaten, LOL.
So you're laying down in the woods hunting bears when one pops up besides you and whispers, "what're we lookin' for?" 😂
Sorry the bear peaking around the tree like "b*tch you were looking for me"
😂😂 Karma is real
We were always taught as kids, NEVER run, a predator will see you as prey and chase you, stand your ground or slowly walk away never taking your eyes off the predator
It gives you the best view of it eating you
There are some animals that no matter what you do they'll still get you, Grizzly bears, Lions, wild African dogs, polar bears, moose, buffalo.
These videos have taught me that knowing how to shout hey! can save your life in the wild
The way these animals react so quickly to a gun being pointed at them is pretty interesting.
they have bean hunted for years and years by humans they know that guns mean death
That bear was like “I didn’t know you were chill like that”
I would’ve instantly died if a bear let alone a black bear come up behind me😂😂

A lot of respect to those giving warning shots. Says a lot about their character. Things can happen so fast out there, and to be conditioned to give the beasts at least a chance is honorable. Good videos. 👍👊☝️❤️
@Mountain Hacker I guess it would be a judgement call. One of those instant decision things. I think one could tell by an animal's charge whether they are bluffing or not. I hear ya tho.
If a animal like the ones in the video walking towards me I am shooting the shit out of them.
Shouldn’t be hunting animals anyways with the abundance of food that’s available to people. I find it interesting man never hunted big animals like this until guns came along because they knew the danger. Humanity has gotten way to bold put the gun down and try to take a bear out.
@Mountain Hacker Why do you hunt anyways with the abundance of food readily available? Are you afraid of animals without a gun? If so maybe you shouldn’t be in the wilderness. Taking a animal out in self defense vs killing to kill is a different concept and man never hunted big animals until guns came along so put the gun down tough guy and try a bear with your bare hands unless you are afraid of course.
@Mountain Hacker Are you blind? My point stands you are a coward bud, you want to be in the wilderness when you know you stand no chance out there without a gun. So since you admit to being a coward that’s fine, that’s just my point. All you guys who hunt as an excuse is not a good argument. Because even when there’s laws on hunting you clowns still over hunt the animals, poach them, and don’t follow the laws in place. That’s the main issue so since you guys like to act tough then drop the gun and take it out with your bare hands unless you are afraid.
Thanks for all those arrows and circles. Without them I would not be capable of noticing lion, brown bear... or elephant.
Bwaaaahahahaha

Praise the Lord for the red circles and arrows.
I’m sure that I wouldn’t have noticed any animals without them.

The black bear had cubs, so was very cautious and naturaly responded with get outa my space.
Usually even with cubs the black bear will chicken out. This is rare. He could have charged the mom and she would have run away. She wouldn't go far with her cubs up the trees but she wouldn't have messed with him.
From @8:42 the cubs can be seen climbing the trees, which is how black bear cubs respond to danger. Even adult black bears can literally run up trees so climbing a tree to try to escape is never a defence
Black bear attacks are actually more likely to be predatory than brown bear attacks, which is why they say to fight back if a black bear attacks you.
Moose don't run because a person reaches for their gun! They stop and leave because it was a false charge.

If I encounter aggressive predators I don't think I would opt for a warning shot
The title should've been named "12 Times Hunters Were Underprepared". People can hunt any animal if they're careful enough and take good enough precautions.
It's amazing that the animals retreat when they see a human pointing something at them..?
It's probably encoded in their DNA. Animals have been hunted by humans since forever and they'll have an instinct and knowledge to automatically run when they see humans point a weapon at them. Just like Animals don't need swimming lessons they just know how to do it automatically. They're hardwired with survival skills
3:25 I almost had a heart attack.
Always a good idea to turn your back to a predetor and run.
The two running/charging moose were most interesting to me. I recently finished reading a book telling a story where moose in Northern B.C. chase and attack men on horseback. This happened back in the 1940’s but apparently moose still get aggressive even today, as this video shows. Best to have protection and not to become a rare case of being gored and trampled by a moose.
They kill more people than bear. They can be real nasty. I had just pitched a tent and was setting up camp one time, and this young bull comes out and watches me. I watched him for a bit. The bugger put his head down real low to the ground! That's a sign of aggression. I raised my arms right up and yelled and started charging him. Not given him a second thought as to whether or not I was dangerous and scared it away, once he did that. He was testing me. He didn't come back around camp.
It's their toxic masculinity. Trudeau is working on it

I had an experience where a big deer buck (muscular, big horns and in heat) was blocking my way to my front door one night. I cautiously walked around him and found he was so distracted and mesmerized by a doe he had his eye on that I didn't matter 😅😂!
You mean, he was in rut. "Heat" refers to the estrous cycle (in does, etc.). The deer you really need to watch are suburban does guarding their fawns! The threat behaviour of the first bull moose was classic. Notice how he rocked his antlers, to show the full extent of their size? The ears laid back, raised hackles, and that glare are clear warnings. Willi B. in Canada

11:30...what was he going to do with an unloaded crossbow????
Despite all of my comments...I still gave a thumbs up
I think animals are much more intelligent than they're given credit for. In many of these instances when a human went for, or presented a weapon they relented before they got shot in the face. They wouldn't fear a mere stick that didn't go boom or shoot something sharp in their direction.
Oh they are, I can tell you. Several species of birds book it the second a metal tube is brought out
Only if they've been hunted or exposed to firearms before. And I'd wager that, in this day and age, most have at some point, directly or indirectly.
You Should Play Heavenly Music Instead. Karma Is Divine. 😂
I think most charges are blough, because they are intelligent creatures and dont want any bother themselves.

Don’t mess with them mommas came across a mama and three cubs one time and when she left we measured the branches and she was 7 feet tall !
I hate when I hear that black bears are not aggressive. Generally, that is true, but especially large dominant ones, can and have attacked and even killed, so even though it's a black bear you better make sure you are at a safe distance, or always have a way to defend yourself when out in the woods, where it is known to have large predators.
Every hunter killed bye an animal is a blessing.
Bear just wanted to be friends.

It really shows that without our intelligence we’re just bait.
Guns contain the pill that makes guys feel strong.
During 54 years of meandering through Alaska's back country without one, I came to realize that unless you're as quick a shooter as Bob Munden was, a gun is rather unreliable when a surprise charge at close range occurs.
lol tell that to all the hunters that had their lives saved by a gun in close surprise charges.
The female moose weighs over 800lbs but the bull moose can weigh up to and sometimes over 1400lbs.
There’s one in a sports store here in Ontario, it weighs over 1.5 tonnes
The narrator tried to be humorous about the encounters - it was just a little too cutsy. Where are the videos showing humans actually being attacked because of their ignorance and stupidity.
Why is it that in every clip I’m hoping the animal turns around and eats the hunters?
I woulnd't have a clue why you would think about such horrible things. Almost seems like you are against hunting...
Because you’re ignorant and don’t understand conservation
👊😎#5-Dude who caught the boar is a badass. #4- Bear Mama almost eats guy. You will see a bear cub climbing in the trees in the background. That is why he almost died. 🤣🤣🤣
I found this narration full of misinformation and wording that blew things out of proportion.
11. It looks like the lions were bluff charging which can be seen in one clip where the lion has already turned to the side.
10. Another bluff charge although the narrator claims that the moose retreats when a gun is pointed at it. Begs the question of whether a moose recognizes that stick-looking thing as a threat.
8. It looks like this scene takes place during the rut, and the pair are courting (for lack a more technical term). It could very well be that they just happened to run straight toward the man, got surprised that there was a human there, and turned away.
7. The elephant was just "inches away." Yeah, a couple of thousand inches.
6. The alligator eats a duck and then "things get out of hand." There is no footage showing the alligator charging, and it would be unlikely to charge since humans are not alligator prey and it has a belly full of duck.
5. There is no grass in this shot. There is no evidence that the wild pig charged.
4. The narrator doesn't mention that there is a cub in the tree. Given the circumstances, mom was not very aggressive.
3. Narrator: "Both parties remain unharmed." Except for the bobcat who just had its paw crushed and mangled in a trap and then was choked into unconsciousness. There's a very good chance the bobcat died from infection, or from starvation because it was unable to hunt with a mangled paw.
2. The cape buffalo was a she as she had a calf following her, and was probably protecting her calf.
1. The narrator claims that the guns make the bear run away. One was a crossbow, not a gun, and the bear was most likely bluff charging and the guns had nothing to do with its behavior. Also, the narrator identifies the bear a THE PREDATOR, ignoring the two other predators in the scene who were trying to kill the bear.
The narrator was ignorant himself. In addition to his lack of knowledge, he tried to be cutsy with humor. Liz, you clearly noticed what the narrator had no idea about.
That black bear was just trying to kick it 😂

That bull moose on the road is spectacular- - -classic threat language. The man was carrying a moose shoulder blade, with which hunters imitate a moose thrashing bushes, and the "Uoh!" grunt he made was a good imitation of a bull moose grunt. It is NEVER a good idea to turn your back on a wild animal who is near by, especially when that close. Willi B. in Canada.
Thanks! I really was wondering why he had a bone after at first thinking it was an antler.
The narration that moose can reach 800 lbs is misleading. A small bull moose is 800 lbs. Bull moose can reach 1200 ++ lbs

Wtf is so “unexpected” about seeing gators while hunting ducks in a swamp in south Florida?!? To me that sounds like something to be very expected lol not alarming at all. Actually black bears attack far more than grizzlies, I really wanted to watch this, but then I get upset, seeing stunning animals being hunted … happy most of them get away, but why hunt bears, lions, any of the kind of animals that we don’t NEED to eat? There is plenty of hoofed animals if you need to hunt for food - that may seem hypocritical, but that’s the way I feel. Thanks for the vid. :)
Some hunters just feel the need to acquire a trophy. To me, that's a waste on an animal's life. The only time anyone would have to hunt & kill an animal is for defense or food.
Nobody cares
"The average brown bear encounter is more dangerous-3.5 times more likely to result in injury-than the average polar bear encounter, and 21 times more dangerous than the average black bear encounter, according to Smith and colleague Stephen Herrero, professor emeritus at the University of Calgary in Canada."
