- Today AD brings you to Beverly, Washington along the banks of the Columbia River to visit a tiny home straight out of the early Space Age. When professional catamaran designer Kurt Hughes decided to build his Lunar Lander Dwelling House, he set out to improve upon the excessive weight and structural weaknesses found in some tiny houses. Using lessons learned from his decades building ships, Kurt has maximized every inch in his meticulously designed replica of the Apollo Lunar Lander.

What an amazing tiny house! The entire design is quite clever and very livable, while also being whimsical and escapist as well. I enjoyed hearing Mr. Hughes explain his reasoning behind every element of the design. It seems like quite a homey and pleasant environment.

Yeah, celeb homes are opulent and dreamy but something about designers having a ‘why’ behind every corner of their home in function and aesthetic is pretty cool
That's a tiny home, seems structurally sound and can be a very pleasant place for lonely folks who want to chill out and relax.
This was way more interesting than the 50 mil homes, to me. Seems like a great guy and what a creative, nerdy thing :D

Let's be honest here, how many of your viewers can buy one of those mega mansions you always show? Yeah it's cool to see every now and then but not all the time. Show us more normal homes that arent friggin 100 million dollars.
