Tbh i always thinked about how Buffer may could sound normally, AND THIS IS WHAT I ALWAYS IMAGINED :D
Bf tried to interrupt her at 1:02 but then NuSky turns it into a duet after figuring out he was going to interrupt her, though seeing as they seem to have became friend-ish at this point, I think it was just for laughs.
