    Very good explanation. At my tender age of 74, i do sometimes find it more difficult to assimilate new and complex procedures. You have made it so much easier than the rest of the tutorials available. Thanks and happy flying.

    I’m really enjoying this jet. It flies really nice, really fun to hand fly.

    Many thanks for this excellent tutorial.
    A tip, activate autothrottle already on the ground before starting the take off roll. This way you can set the correct take off power by just pushing the TOGA button on the left throttle lever. This makes things a bit easier.

    Awesome - thanks, the amount of times I di-engaged AP thinking it also do AThrottle as well only to have it stay on and with levers back wonder why im not slowing down!
    I wish the the AP disengaged AT or or full idel did but just gotta rememember to disengage the Auto Throttle as well as AP to get it right - still learning.

      @@underleft I’ve got a joystick button mapped for auto pilot on/off maybe I can map another for A/T as well for this plane - let me see if I can do that

    Great Channel, Would be interested to see an updated Vnav Tutorial along with the Auto Throttle to have the plane follow a SID, and also an explanation of when one might want to adjust the speeds using the Vnav button on the FMS in Flight Plan.

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  Před 6 měsíci

      This airplane doesn’t do VNAV climb AFAIK, it’s fairly basic avionics with VNAV descent only. Feel free to correct me on that though.
      Good point about adjusting VNAV speed, it’s not something I really need to ever do but never say never

    Version 2. The speed brakes activate automatically. Hopefully simbrief and Navigraph integration will come. The Vision jet has it.

    Hey hope all is well with you,can you please kindly make a tutorial for a Kodiak 100? I just bought it and would love a tutorial from you because you explain it so well I learned to fly the Fenix A320 from you! Thank you so much!

    Thanks for making this excellent video. A couple of points here. Are you aware that you can choose to graphically display your vertical profile on the screen? I thought that with VNAV you could also ascend in this mode without using FLC. As long as there is a constraint or inserted altitude at a waypoint soon after take off, then VNAV should calculate your TOC and TOD after you have dialled in your cruising altitude, without you having to insert it manually as you did.

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  Před rokem

      I’m not sure VNAV climb is a thing in this - I couldn’t get it to work atleast. I could be wrong, but I thought it was a descent mode in airplanes with Garmin units.

  • @FTStratLP
    @FTStratLP Před 3 měsíci

    @TiJayFLY Do you also have the issue that with auto-throttle on and speed control set to FMS, that when setting flaps 1 auto speed is reduced correctly to 150 kts, but then when setting flaps 2 auto speed will increase again to 200 kts instead of decrease to Vapp. I experience this on the majority of approaches. Not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  Před 3 měsíci +1

      MSFS autopilot can be buggy as hell on approach. My advice would be to set the desired speed manually

    My Hondajets 2 garmin touchscreens seem to be synced together. How do I get them to operate independently, or is this some glitch?

    • @TiJayFLY
      @TiJayFLY  Před 6 měsíci

      I don’t think they are designed to operate independently in this addon, but it may be worth checking with the developer

    • @Joker77W
      @Joker77W Před 6 měsíci

      @@TiJayFLY They used to work independently. Yours are working independently in the video, the left FMC is showing your flightplan and the right is showing the load manager at the start of the setup. I think you're right, I'm going to have to find out from the developer if there is maybe a glitch or something.

    • @Joker77W
      @Joker77W Před 6 měsíci +2

      Mystery solved. The “lite” liveries make things slightly simpler including syncing the fmcs. Gotta select a regular livery to get the full features.

      The lite versions are not so demanding on CPU and GPU and should be used, if you experience stutters or low FPS.

      I think the issue I had here is stutters, as MSFS was caching a ton of stuff after not being played for a while. I’ll probably swap out the mechanical drive MSFS is on for an SSD - the rest of the spec is decent. 8th gen i7, 32GB RAM, RTX2070
