One of the best ways to fund your health tech or medtech startup idea is to apply for a grant, specifically the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant!
In this video, I will share what the SBIR grant is, who is eligible, how to apply, and the TIPS I've used to successfully get millions of dollars of funding for the healthtech startup I work for!
Not having money should not stop you from developing innovative solutions that improve health outcomes and patient care. When there is a will, there's a way! And grant funding is definitely one of them...

While some grant programs may prioritize applicants with a strong publication record, others may place more emphasis on factors such as the novelty of the research proposal, potential impact, feasibility, and the applicant's qualifications.
