A quick chime in on the subject of some people being frustrated in the beginning while learning, well, there is no short cut. Practicing and simply spending time with your guitar, even if just noodling will pay off at some point. Stay with it and practice and eventually the guitar will start --- "giving back." A beautiful day that is!

Tonight is my 1st night learning. I learned 4 chords in about 30 minutes. I just keep playing the same chords over and over. I know with some practice I will get it down. I love this but my fingers are not working this well yet!

Bar chords are sooo much easier with a light string gauge, take that in mind people if you are struggling with them too much

also, barre chords yes, they hurt at first, and it's hard. as babies, we fall more than 1000 times before we can actually walk. it's pretty worth it so yes, practice, 5 minutes every day and all of that will quickly be a forgotten story from the past!

If my pinky falls off I will be reduced to power chords, but I’ll still try to learn, maybe just play a lot of metal, rock with it and party on. But seriously, my fingers have become so callus that they’ve developed grooves where the strings go, funny thing is I changed to a lighter gauge string and now the groves are to deep to get good sound from the higher strings, crazy right? but I still practice, what is some of the things you warm up with and/or practice?
im so frustrated. I think im bit lazy too, I mean I want to learn quick not patient. I will learn these chords before corona hit me lol finger crossed (I can do that lol)

Juno , you play so effortlessly yet I have yet to hear "buzzing" from any of your guitars. Is it a black and white answer to my question on how to get rid of that or is it a grey answer...so many variables involved when it comes to buzzing on the fret board?
