- There's a lot to ride at Glentress Forest, which is why it's so popular. In this video I'll be taking a look at Berm Baby Berm; one of the highlights of the blue MTB trail. It's a really fun section and can even be ridden after Spooky Wood by making the jump from the red trail over to the blue.

If you dont like berm baby berm, you have no soul. It's just so much fun
I couldn't agree more. It should be used as a measure of people's character.
Love the forest of endor comparison 👍
If you're lucky enough to find one, in the winter you can shelter in a Tonton
We are going to Glentress tomorrow for a few days! Can't wait to ride berm baby berm and spooky wood.
Both are excellent. I'd recommend riding the red in its entirely, but you can switch to the blue after Spooky Wood if you turn right then right at its exit. Did blue then red in a day a while ago, but it's a good old ride.
If you're in the Tweed Valley, the Golfie is a lot of fun, but it's quite different to Glentress.
yeah! 👍
Awesome video! Love the look of Glentress, deffo on my to do list! Berm Baby Berm has been mentioned to me a few times now, nice to see a decent video of it!
Cheers, Ryan. GT is great. You'll absolutely love it.
@@MeantforDescent give me a shout next time your hitting it there, I'll try not get lost as much and have a tyre that plays ball!! Haha
Will do. You won't get lost at Glentress; there are too many signs. Can't make any promises about tyres though. ;)
@@MeantforDescent haha you might need to pack the fire extinguisher!! 🤣
I might need a bigger bottle cage. ;)
Top job as always dude. Love me some GT. Ride Safe.
Cheers, man. GT's always a crowd pleaser.
Been ages since I was last at Glentress, as challenging as the red/black rougher and more technical trails are I enjoy riding the flowy trails as well, Berm baby Berm is great fun, Some other Scottish Trails I would recommend are Carron Valley mountain bike trails in central Scotland and another which I have not ridden on yet is Laggan Wolftrax which I am looking into doing soon, thanks for sharing! 😁👍
Thanks Gary. I've passed Laggan Wolftrax before, but never had the chance to ride there. I'll have to do a bit of research on that and Carron Valley.
As always a great video.
Also love Bern baby bern , can gather so much speed and great for somebody like me who is not the most technically gifted
Thanks, Tom. I think it's a great little section, and you're right about the speed. I'm sure that alone can be more dangerous than some of the more technical bits.
Meant for Descent but a little speed is fun 😂
A good point, and well made. I certainly can't argue with that. :)
Meant for Descent was out at Drumlanrig Castle yesterday to try to improve my technical
ineptitude.
Really good test.
If you are up that way, give it a go
Thanks for the heads up, Tom. I'm always on the lookout for new places to ride and Drumlanrig's only a couple of hours drive. Cheers.
🥰 😀Keep it up ! This is a great bike video! By the way, I just subscribed to your channel. ❤️🔥...
Thanks, and welcome aboard.
I keep forgetting the classes for trails.
What is the easiest to hardest.
I think one of the hardest is a black trail????
You're right. It's green, blue, red, black and then some places, like BikePark Wales, have pro lines, too.
@@MeantforDescent oh didn't expect to get that right. Is it in America that blue and red are switched around???
I don't think there is a red in North America. Green, blue, black, then double black.
