I watched it in 3D in a theatre and it's something like seeing a comet. Almost once in a lifetime thing. I think the car chase with Raftaar was the best. The effects were clean and extremely convincing. It's good to see folklore getting created about my culture❤

Would like to shed a little light on what was discussed very early on in the video,
What Suraj was explaining as god Brahma, is the god of creation. He is also called the writer of destiny of people. Brahma is said to be the originator of the four Vedas and part of the trinity i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (commonly also called Mahesh)
And what Damarin was referring to as Brahman, is a metaphysical concept in the Upanishads that connotes the highest universal principle, the ultimate reality in the universe that embodies everything(all pervasive force that unites everything in a nutshell).
It's common to confuse between these two.

    Hinduism in nutshell:-
1.)Bhrahma is a god but braham(like ocean) is what, everything is made of(like drops of Ocean water).
2.There are infinite universes and every universe has its own Shiva(destroyer), Brahma(creator) and Vishnu(preserver -take Avatar when needed).
3.)All of the materialistic multiverse is just 1/4th of the whole creation(material realm), rest 3/4th is beyond human intellect(divine realm).
4.)Universes continuesly undergo the process of destruction and formation there is no end and beginning like a circle, so time is not linear but cyclical.
5.)Everything(all the information) is inside the human beings as everything is made from same Brahm in this multiverse So with the pure process of self realisation you can get to the ultimate truth.
The stories of god's and epics are easy way of conveying complex concepts ,ways to live your life(Dharma) and path toward self realisation(which is difficult to follow without a Guru).

I don't know why the discord community picked this cringy movie. Just to let the Normies know.. everyone in India went to watch Brahmastra just because of the VFX and production, and almost everyone was cringed by the cheeky love story. For context, this movie was shot a couple of years ago and was delayed due to VFX post-production and COVID. So, the love story, DJ as a profession, and the same old electronic dance music retained its popularity until about 2018-2019, and if this movie were released at that time.. People would have loved it.
I hope the next part would be great as Ayan Mukherjee, the director, realized what went wrong.

When it's about any other film industry, idiots like you only care about "entertainment value" or "fun time" but a critic is born inside u all of a sudden if bwood goes big. Then "screenplay" "dialogues" "acting performances" become important to you.

Let's not call names here. You have your opinions and I have mine but let's be clear on one thing. Screenplay, dialogues, story line.. everything has value and preferences change over time. If you are anything like me.. you might have loved Iron Man movies right? And everything was great until Avengers endgame and suddenly the whole universe fell apart and every new Marvel movie since then is kind of meh. Thor love and thunder for example.. the villian had no depth and every dialogue was written in a way to lighten the mood and I didn't like it. But the new Batman movie from DC was amazing.
Now coming to Brahmastra just think about it for a second. How amazing would it be if Isha from the movie turns out to be someone who played Shiva for taking the Brahmastra from him. I'm just saying.. storylines.. twists and dialogues play an important role in a movie and it helps you get into the shoes of the characters but when the dialogues are cliche.. it doesn't happen and all the excitement you had for the movie is gone in a second.
At the end it doesn't matter if the movie is Bollywood or Hollywood or whether you consider it every Indian's responsibility to not criticize anything from India on the internet. It's about having your expectations met and coming out of the movie hall feeling excited and amazed which didn't happen for me. I'm happy for you that you enjoyed it.
