I recently started to suspect I'm the subject of a lot of songs, and this is one. Maybe if you read me you could give me some feedback. I'd really appreciate it. My website also has some original rap I think is inspired by a muse, the way Lana says she is. And the subject of the song, she's stated publicly, she doesn't know. She knows his mother, and my mother is a seriously capable spiritual mystic with psychic powers, and Lana says she herself is also, so it might be through a psychic link she knows my mother. Who knows. Obviously, I'm self-promoting here, but I think it's reasonable.

Lana has never been fond of preforming on big stages, i think it may make her feel more at peace with the full production. Not to mention these are massive festivals that call for grand performances.

@@BrooklynArch Lorde put on a god damn show at Primavera sound last year with choreography and dancers on a gigantic sundial and in general is way more active than Lana on stage. It really depends on the mood they're going for, the current album they're promoting etc.
I'm not completely sure why but I find a dancing group with this rhythm and speed hilarious for LDR. Been listening to her a decade and I have NEVER imagined dancing lol maybe something slower and partnered would have been more fitting.

Her best performances were all for small audiences. France could be interesting since it’s only a crowd of 1,000.

I adore this performance but one thing that bug me is the dancing. I don’t mean it as a hate they are amazing dancers but the song is quite gloomy and soulful but choreograph was too stiff or rigid at times it’s kind of unmatching with the vibes that Lana’s voice & the song gave out. Maybe a little bit slow and beat down moves might do the magic; anyway like i said I loved the performance overall
Yes to this! I liked when it was just Alex and Ashley, but having a whole troupe of dancers bopping behind her just doesn't fit the mood of her music at all.

Very strange night watching this in person. Late on, started badly then she really got into the swing of it. This song was one of my highlights of the weekend, and then the early cut off. Most surreal live music experience I've had
I thought she did great versions of Young and Beautiful, Cola, Bartender, Ultraviolence. But she should have respected the organisers and the many fans who paid mega bucks to see her. Very diva like.

I actually left just before she started cause I was so annoyed of how long we had to wait... And then I came back later and I heard her saying "I have to rush my set cause I was so late doing my hair....I'll keep playing, they can cut the lights and the sound but I will keep going".... She kind of put the weight/blame on the crew...Like they would be the ones cutting her off... But there is a curfew + they even gave her 15 extra minutes on the night... For an artist that I've been waiting many years to get the chance to watch live, it left a very bitter impression...
She is generally not very good live she does not have the voice for big shows like this for example and she is always late, she did the same in brazil a few weeks ago the gig is on youtube

man i watched her live once i can't believe she still sings like this.. i'll take the studio versions over her lives any day, at least i can hear her voice there
Honestly her live performances always confused me a little. I have seen good live performances of her, both in person myself and videos that others have filmed of her. And then there's other times like this where the instrumentals are completely drowning her out. The instrumental volume being so much louder than her mic has been her biggest error overall in her concerts over the years, if there were issues. What I can't tell though is why this keeps happening. Does she do it on days where she isn't happy with her voice and uses that as a way to gloss over that somehow, or is it truly consistent sound management issues.
I love Lana so much, but I don't think she is meant for the bigger stages. She does so well in quieter atmospheres where she doesn't have to strain herself.
