The component material and design is rubbish. The fact that you have to buy a complete assembly from Maserati for a plastic part that must cost a few pence to produce is ludicrous.
Thank you for the great work here. I need to replace one of my back windows. After I take the side panel off and remove the regulator will I be able to pull the window out from the top?
Honestly. I’m not sure. I haven’t needed to remove the glass yet and opted to secure it in place. I would not be surprised if you don’t have to remove the weather strip though as the lower glass has mounts for the bolts. Will be interested to hear how you get on. Cheers Ade
@@AdrianLeggettUK I managed to do it. Yep removed weather strip and managed to swap them over. Now onto the window regulator on the opposite door and electric handle not working 😅
Hi Ade I’m doing the passenger door same as on your car and really struggling to get the bolts back into the glass is there a knack to this or do I need to find someone with tiny hands to help me out? Regards Marco
I moved the runners down to get the best position but small hands to make it easier. Socket extension worked for me together with a bit of patience. Good luck.
Hi Antonio. The outside handle has two buttons. One electronic and another mechanical. Do they both work? The indoor handle is mechanical. A cable is fastened onto the handle on the rear of the door card. When the handle is pulled open, the cable operates the opening mechanism. It’s likely something has broken here.
