It seems that Hugo player wanted pretty much to practice parrying Kikoshou during a real match so eventually he (or anyone in the matter) can make Justin's "Daigo Parry PTSD" return no matter what Super Art he uses with Chun-Li.
That Hugo didn't know fear, totally agressive gameplay for that giant. A really impressive match

Really good Hugo players are tough to beat. Perhaps this video is a primer against Hugo players. This is also the most entertaining video I've seen from Justin so far.

Fun fact: Game Inn Sakura or Gamer’s Vision (Can’t remember exactly which arcade) used to run a 3S tournament where you couldn’t pick the characters best super i.g. Akuma no SA1, Chun no SA2, Ken no SA3. And there are a few high level Japanese players who play SA1 Chun regularly.

I think on jump in, Kikosho eventually crosses up. Their sprite moves forward and eventually it starts to hit them from behind. I think this is why you cannot parry the whole thing.
You can find footage of YSB parrying Necro's SA1, which does the same thing. Even worse, they would do the normal shock > SA1 and he manages to parry the whole thing, pretty bonkers
as a beginner hugo was always my worst nightmare, all the stupid mistakes i made ended up costing me like a quater of my health. then again as a dudley player the british and the germans have a history

I would have loved to have played somebody like you back when Street fighter 3 third strike was fresh. It's been almost 18 or so years since I played that game on a regular basis. Tried to get back into fighting games recently because I quit playing MMOs and I did not realize how much I lost, it is definitely a perishable skill.

@@MichaelHarto it's a mental thing I gave up too quick, I never played Street fighter 4 I did try five a little bit but it was so different. I was at my peak in the arcade in Street fighter 3 and marvel Capcom 2. I was really good at Street fighter alpha 3 so I went back and tried those games to see if I was still any good I don't know if I got the willpower to sit there and get good again.

@@LGBTGROOMSOURCHILDREN Well one important thing to keep in mind from the very beginning is that SF does change and it's normal, from SF1 to 5. Fgs are not supposed to evolve like soccer games and that's actually a great thing. The devs are creatively active and willing to not just remake the same game in every sequel. And even though sometimes in the 90s it looked like the games didn't change much, there was still a fairly good amount of difference in those yearly sequels. (Before MvC2 all Marvel games were released one every year) Focus on more productive thoughts instead of how newer games "became different".

Suggestions of handicap play for matches: Pick a low tier (anti Sanford). Pick the worst super art. No specials. No supers. Use a strong fireball char without fireballs. Use either no punches or no kicks depending on the character.
