It wouldn't have worked cause she can't detransform since she had no voice and she can't use her lucky charm to then detransform in 5 minutes so if she didn't get the akuma she would have been ladybug forever

-Ladybug wouldn't have been Ladybug forever because taking off the earrings works just as well
