When the brush separated from handle during the eyeball....and you picked up the “nub” & kept going....yup! That was superhera (my new feminine version of “hero”) worthy...🤣🙌🏼 That has happened to me soooo many times, & you kept going, good for you! She came out awesomely bold & beautiful...love it! Karen you are just so stinkin cute ! Here is my anniversary story... so I was pregnant and we knew I was going to have a BIG baby as my dr. Thought for months I was gong to have twins... well... all I kept saying was I didn’t want to have the baby on our anniversary!! Of course the morning of our 4th anniversary I woke up and my water broke ! Damn ! lol off to the hospital we go. My dr. Wanted me to go into labor first then to decide if we were going to be able to go natural or C section. My dr. Comes in and first thing I do is tell her NOT TODAY !! We need to hold off til tomorrow !! She looked at me and kindly informed me that wasn’t how it worked lol. After 3 hours of labor she told me there was no way I was going to be able to have the baby naturally so it was going to have to be a C section...of course I said “ Can we do it tomorrow “ being the kind lady she was she laughed and walked away telling the nurse to book the OR ..... 3 hours later ...they handed me my baby boy who was born weighing.... 11 pounds and 9 ounces !! He ended up being the biggest baby born in that hospital that year. And I told my husband then “ you better never forget what I gave you for our 4th anniversary 😂

Okay, my anniversary.... uh, thing. So, we have been married for 16 years as well and have never even gone out to dinner or anywhere else for our anniversary, but we have a reason. A good reason? Probably not, but it's a reason. ;) Our first wedding anniversary we were poor college students and couldn't afford to go out anywhere, so we bought a bag of pizza rolls and sparkling grape juice (I was a young bride and under age... haha!). We decided to make that our thing. So, 16 years later, we still celebrate our anniversary with pizza rolls (a lot more now though, because the kids have to be part of it as well) and sparkling grape juice.

I was doing a contour drawing inspired by Jenny mannos one, but I used a different reference and then it went onto this video and I so needed this as I use others art as a reference but in my style....also I love mistakes too. I love thinking what could be.....this really inspired me
It reminded me why I do art and I do it to let go and be free and enjoy myself so I realised I needed to calm tf down...I lost sight of that trying to make art people would like on my ig page instead of for me, which is the whole purpose 😁

Married 37-1/2 years and can't remember anything unique about our celebrations... Except for the time we were at a restaurant and made cards for each other using our cocktail napkins while waiting for our food. Another time we decided to go for a drive after an inexpensive meal (probably not enough $ to afford a movie). I said I hope we see a deer and not long after we saw a buck with a majestic rack. Just the other day we saw a buck that reminded us of that anniversary over 30 years ago. Happy Anniversary!

Love how the tears came out. I have a sketch I did and the only thing keeping me from completing it is that I don’t know how to do tears. I may try that on a scrap sheet before putting it on my finished sketch.
