In a wedding event is a once in a life experience of the couple. Time and and workflow is very important. We cannot hire to many people just to adjust on the setting the mood of the lights but this is a very good feature for us who are starting up in wedding videography. The Sidus app will help us increase the production value to set the color of mood wirelessly using your mobile phone or ipad for your multiple apurture lights set-up. What is good about this Sidus app is you can match a color on the environment which you like and can be broadcast to all your Apurture lights which is really amazing. Lights with very good feature is essential good investment and we can never go wrong to achieve the amazing effect and create a "WOW" factor to your client.
The Sidus App's features and advantages enables every wedding broadcasters to step up their game in capturing great cinematography, lighting and great contrast of colors in the films. For wedding coverage starters like us, it gives us an edge on how we could make a great masterpiece through wedding films. One of the challenges encountered by many of us is on how to deal with nature, capture amazing films in the dark with less noise, capturing pictures and clips without the light bouncing and being able to adjust the camera settings and light through the architectural features of the church, reception and etc. Like anyone else who are already a pro, having this app and its features will give us neophytes to strengthen our goals, improving our work and delivering the best wedding film masterpiece.
Sidus App is a game changer tool for live wedding coverage, I actually started as a live studio cameraman in ABS-CBN TV Patrol Panay and I know how hard it is to control the lighting especially if your set is outdoor where lighting changes constantly and sometimes uncontrollable, so imagine if you can control your lighting remotely without going into the scene fixing and changing your light. Also if this is the case I won’t need to have an extra light man or a gaffer to worry about changing the lighting I can just do it on the background with the Sidus app and change the mood if I want to behind the camera. As a Film maker this is a very useful tool to make film making convenient and efficient especially during live shoots where you really can’t do anything if you’re already live. The Sidus App is such a powerful tool for me and it will definitely help the ‘Wedding Broadcasters’ with their live feed footage. I have only a rudimentary grasp on how the Sidus App works but knowing about this here on the podcast sparked so many ideas and algorithms on how to make lighting easy and convenient. I wish I could learn more about it but thank you so much Mayad Academy and Apurture for this awesome podcast I will research more about this and I’m looking forward to the next podcast.

Sidus app will help the wedding broadcaster by instead of seeing people running around and adjust the light stand just to adjust the output of the lights because you left the remote or models that doesn't have a remote. now because of this app you can stand in one position and adjust everything from there, the output, the color moods, and help the white balance because you can adjust the colors of the lights that are RGB. Especially now the churches requires a smaller team to shoot weddings inside the church. So you can be a 2nd or main shooter and adjust the lights from the app in your phone or ipad and It can work at older models. :)
