      That was a mistake, the infotainment and touch controls on the steering wheel is a no go. Also 135 KW DC Charging is super slow and unacceptable for 2024 standards. You should have gotten the Hyundai Ioniq 5, it has a similar price, real buttons, more range, and 230KW charging.

      @@marlo8850 not true, the infotainment is really good know, better than the now dated looking ioniq 5. 800v charging has no practical use for me and 80% of chargers here max out at around 150 anyway. Does the panoramic roof have a blind? May help with noise level also.
    Is that roof standard on rwd or optional extra.
    I thought the 2023 id4 had 515km wltp and new 2024 was closer to 550km?

    In Canada, VW website states that the Pro, Pro S RWD and AWD have DC maximum acceptance rate to be 175 kw. Only the ID.4 (not pro) has this as 140 kw. Are you sure it wasn't a charger issue?

    • @infernovideo

      I recommend going with the heat pump. I didn't hear it a single time for the week I tested it. Also have heat pump in my ID3 and it never really gets disturbing. But sure it makes some noise when cold outside and the cabin gets preheated. Maybe I'm to used to it to give you a good advice. But in general I would never go without heat pump regardless of car make and model.

    Tip: if you own it, and do not have the panorama glas, install acoustic glass in the front two doors. Stops the wind noise dead. MUCH quieter. Cost: probably 100 EUr each glass, plus effort, which is not much.

      Are you saying that the package with panorama roof also gives you the acoustic glass in the front doors?
      I was a bit confused when reading the options, it sort of says but no real explanation. Sorry, this is in Swedish:
      Designpaket PLUS exteriör | Tillval
      Utöver innehåll från Designpaket exteriör:
      • Panoramaglastak i mörktonat glas med elektriskt jalusi
      • Mörktonade rutor från B-stolpen och bakåt inklusive akustikrutor

      @ItsOnlyElectric  Před 2 měsíci

      Tror inte pano egentligen hänger ihop med laminerade glaset i framdörrarna. 2 olika saker. Glastak för cupen bullrigare, speciellt om det inte är fördraget.

      @johanberg1 Před 2 měsíci

      @@ItsOnlyElectric Jo, absolut. Fast frågan var egentligen om en ID.4 utan glastak har det laminerade glaset i framdörrarna eller inte?
      Texten i broschyren antyder att det bara är bilar med panoramataket som också har laminerade glas i framdörrarna. Kanske för att kompensera att dom blir bullrigare med glastak?

      @@ItsOnlyElectric Thx 👍 We tested the iD3 and iD4 (with the latest engine) and were pretty stunned by the comfort, silence, and the efficiency. @Mototherapy_Michio I would for panoramic glass roof. Love the airiness it gives the cabin..
