Great work on a look at the authentic "Old West'. I was totally amazed at the revealing part of your video on the Saloon Girls of the Old West. The similarity between these lovely Ladies and the ancient and honorable Geisha Girls of Japan is remarkable! There respective duties were exactly the same. The only true difference is that the Geisha were much more institutionalized and remained a very honorable profession until this Day. As these really outstanding American Saloon Girls, the Japanese Geisha Girls we're never prostitutes. Though at times a Geisha may have an affair with a gentleman and even eventually marry him, but the never sold themselves. And, just like these outstanding American Saloon Girls, the Geisha were of a middle to upper class background. The Geisha were sophisticated and well cultures like their American Sisters. They are especially trained in song, musical instruments, and traditional Japanese folk Dance. Their profession is focused at entertaining male customers of the tavern or Teahouse in which they are employed. They sing, play the Koto (A stringed instrument), dance, and simply chat with the male customers. These are the very same duties these beautiful American Women performed! And, the intent and focus of these two groups of Sisters, was exactly the same. The Geisha are considered true Artists in every sense of the word. And, it's quite obvious that these impressive American Women were very talented Artists as well. The only real difference between these groups of Sisters is that the "Geisha Girls" were, and are, formally organized and even have a Union to represent them. Additionally, the Geisha history goes back several centuries. Other than these two factors, these outstanding Women are almost identical in their chosen careers. I want to make clear that I use the word "GIRLS" only because this is what they have traditionally been called. Personally, I realize that both these American, and the Japanese female Artists, should more correctly be referred to as, "Women". Once again you have my sincere "Thank You" for providing us with an authentic peek at the Old American West. Bravo!
I believe it was due to the fact that to even survive childhood and reach adulthood back then you either had to be incredibly tough or extremely lucky and the combination of mostly tough and lucky people who made their way to the west in those days had a lot to do with the romanticizing of what we today would call a hard life.
Most of human history ppl had very hard lives. Work work work and almost no convenience . We have no idea how lucky we are today. Even kings didn't have ac a huge selection of food from all over.
I did my college senior project on American Indians and western society. Til I was done, it was over 80 pages long and I received the only A+ by my advisor. She was also an expert in this area (which I didn't know). The west n it's history are constantly being romanticized which is really sad. Great video. I love your work. Keep it up!!

The issue is not whether people have a basic right to own guns(that issue will be debated until the end of time), but that people have a basic right to be safe from the predations of criminals. That right includes the right to meet unlawful force with equal, lawful force. History has demonstrated that no government has ever succeeded in protecting it's citizens. Of course, you have the basic right to believe what you wish to believe, but please don't come to America; stay home, where you think you are safe. By the way, guns were invented not in America, but in the Orient.

Which indeginous people? The history isn't that cut and dry some of the Indians helped kill other groups such as the mohawk that would eat babies and rape other tribeswoman to death. Yeah they still got the bad end of the stick but we weren't blood thirsty monsters all the time we helped alot of tribes and armed them dosent make up for everything but this stuff isn't always American bad like the slavery argument every race has a history of slavery some of the earliest slaves were white it's just what it is
