Few Points from My experience
1. Use High Beam on highways - while crossing you may change to low beam if required. Keeping low beam in darkness , you may miss Potholes , Tractors ( 100 % without tail lamps In India ) other two wheelers which are without tails lamps and stationery vehicles
2. Ensure that your tail lamp is working and the luggage covers does not hamper its visibility for vehicles from behind.
3. Good strong headlamps with proper clear reflectors a must for max Illumination on road.
4. In MONSOON good quality Halogen always better than a LED.
Same policy I follow for my rides start early and end max by 7 or 8 pm
As a Rider-be cool.no anger..no racing with other commuters..concentrate on your ride. Good video Bro.

* Sir from my experience i learnt one thing which you haven't mentioned, if we are using high beam in mountains or single lane road then we should switch to low beam it's safe for us and for others also .
* Everyone's knows this thing ' that you shouldn't use high beam in city but still some 🤬 uses .
* In night on high way or anywhere don't ride behind or sideways of heavy vehicles .
* If you wanna overtake always give pass light and 3 times horn then over take .

Great Advice Sir. Truly night riding/driving is definitely not advisable but at times we cannot avoid.
Would like to share my experience which majority I guess wouldn't have tried including you .
I am using a helmet since more than a year and its inner visor is a miracle. It is polarized and have tested in total darkness with bikes headlamp only, and in city traffic. Not only I am surprised with its night vision ability but also its remarkably impressive. As we all know that inner visors are for daylight, I never used it for more than a year and discovered this accidently few days back.
Helmet which I am using is "Shark Evo One 2 Lethion". Many would say its pricy which I am not denying but a good quality light shaded Polarized glasses should give the same result I presume.

I'd like to add, reduce the speed. Whatever the speed we can carry during daylight will be dangerous. So reducing from 80 to 65kmph will help on single state highways.
Keep on checking mirror for vehicles from behind and guage their speed.
Keep your eyes on the road and the sideways incase someone jumps onto the road.

When I did my master's I had to work at laboratory through out the night. Often out of exhaustion, I excersised my option to return back to my mess 10 kms away traveling through a meandering unlit road at night around 12.00 to 1.00 am. I still remember those nights when I had to return in pouring shower. Visibility was not even 10 meters and there was no street lights. I had a hero honda cd delux with a useless puny headlight which I could manage from my scholarship. Everyday I asked myself how did I survive?

Hii sir, wanted to share My experience with night driving. It has been weird and yet thrilling.
I drove approx 150 kms on a connecting state Highway which lacked basic lighting. And that too on my Interceptor with no Aux lights and only single halogen light.
I've driven the entire night, seen the sun set and rise again. Have started off in the afternoon, was scheduled to arrive at midnight, but it eventually took the entire night due to critically bad roads and we being kind of lost in villages😂.
Night driving is very thrilling in deed. But as you said, It's been to cover the night stretch when we are fully active. Have tasted a bit of night driving, got some kind of used to it but never would I suggest to drive at nights.

Tiger mujhe raat main ride karna pasand karna khas karke apne tarike atleast can avoid traffic hassles baar baar clutch dabana it is quite irritating aur if I cruise at higher speeds also then also can be taken care of atleast to some extent can bisects potholes, any certain obstacles like strays,and can avoid any unnecessary providing lift to any travellers and I myself feel if I get boredom like if I feel sleepy though it hardly becomes a bit worried for me specially during 3 am I take a hault for atleast 15-20 mins can manage chai break....and can retain my original position then again start my journey and trippin.....
