met a girl in vegas two days ago. was too drunk to get a number or a last name; only left her to find this song. this song now curses me and i cannot stop listening. hoping.
"Let me die where I lie, beneath the curse of these lovers eyes." Getting those words tattooed on my shin tomorrow for my 22nd birthday. No one will ever know how much these words and this song means to me. But it's ok, because I do.
For me, it really hits hard when the Chorus starts: " I do not ask the price I pay, I must live with my quiet rage, tame the ghosts in my head that run me wild and wish me dead"...
i think lovers eyes means a lot more than just someone elses eyes on you, i think it means how he has wandering eyes that have too much lust in them for people. hes consumed by complex feelings about focusing on one person and clinging too much and being too forward that he forgets his friends and needs to take a step back and slowly approach life again.
I am fifty 54 years old, and this song is making me cry! I have just been through a divorce after 10 years of marriage. Two children, and I don't know whether this woman loved me or not, and I don't know whether I loved her or not, but I tried my best to make t work! Maybe she did too!
Once again a British band sweeps the floor with all the rest. When will you guys stop making such amazing music? I hope never. God knows it's needed these days.

step one - sit back
step two - listen
step three - smile
Mumford and Sons is my favorite because it takes my mind away from my life for a few minutes. Thoughts turn into a music video.
One word = "WOW"
