- so its that time of year again, to visit the Skegness Carnival 2024, and what a great day it was, thousands of people lined the streets of Skegness and watch the amazing carnival parade pass by.

I noticed that there were no marching bands. I used to volunteer with a band from Earl Shilton in Leicestershire ! Was a long Carnival route but good to see the people ! xx

It looks like the route has been shortened ? Have been in Carnival at least 6 years between 2008 - 2014. The procession used to come up Lumley Road and turn right into Drummond, then go up a side street linking with South Parade. It is usually good weather ! xx
