this band fits my aesthetic with their witchy, ghostly music
So, I think Until Eternity is from Zora's Perspective and this is from the Guy's Perspective. She's Immortal and remembers him, but he is Mortal and can't quite figure out why she looks so familiar

When I was a kid in the 80s I remember buying an album and saying wow this has 3 great sings... well worth it. Now with Blackbriar it is a struggle to figure out which ones are my favorites because they are all incredible. Every song has it's special place.

So glad I found this band years ago definitely one of my favorites and omg zora you keep getting better and better and the title for the song is perfect because its a haunting melody and i just love it

And also one of the million things I love about blackbriar is the ability they naturally have while composing to magnify and give deeper color to rather common expressions, like "you're haunting me".

I personally imagine this song in the context of shadow people or sleep paralysis demons (which I'm obsessed with right now). I imagine the eeriness of recognizing or imagining shapes in your room as creatures. Maybe they're from a dream or actual entities?

@@TheLevrion I don't believe they exist either. Sometimes people call the things they see during sleep paralysis, demons. There are also people who believe that it's more than sleep paralysis. I don't really believe in the supernatural. But i feel inclined to half- believe these cool and spooky things, even though I know they're probably not true.
I used to get sleep paralysis all the time. In the past decade I've only had it once, after seeing the movie "The Nun". (I have a phobia of nuns) It is weird how the more anxious you are the more intense the paralysis, and being unable to move tends to make you more anxious. The best way to beat sleep paralysis is to learn to relax. (I guess people who thought it was demons were in pretty bad shape!)
@@ctberchem7303 @Bergen Spencer My cousin once told how while he was asleep after 4pm he felt the sleep paralysis kicking in and tried to wake up, only to witness something he would never forget.
He saw his mom and dad standing above his bed screaming on him , their eyes were in different color and they had long sharp teeth , he then started yelling at them to leave him alone as loud as he could, and when finally he managed to wake up , to his surprise his dad and mom were still there but with a weird look on their face like they have seen a ghost.
His mom thought he overslept and tried to wake him but to her surprise he was crying and calling for help , she just stood there and didn't know what to do .

I always enjoy your music. I may need a few listens and perhaps be in the right mood for this particular track to be up with my favourites from Blackbriar.
Zora, I have said your voice is like a beautiful haunting lullaby before....But this I would try playing softly to my non-existent baby because it's not heavy with the instrumentals. (By the way that wasn't an insult, it was a genuine statement/compliment ⚘)

I love the heavy instrumentals mixed with Zoras voice. I feel that mix in-between soft and heavy sounds perfect and Blackbriar do this so well. 😍
I can test it out on my dog, but I have no baby. And he love's Zora's voice so... he is just listening. Oh well.
@@ctberchem7303 Haha. I have 3 cats? So if my youngest (my youngest male fur baby) gets crazy I will try this on him and them when they go mad. Or it's 3am and they are running around knocking things over. I have toddlers and an elderly girl. They just happen to have black and black and white fur on them. I swear they are human like most times lol..
