The information is confusing when discussing 3 way switch install. It would be better to have 2 separate instructions for single pole and 3 way. Also, there needs to be more detail on how to connect the wires.

We'll see what we can do regarding additional installation videos. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please consult a licensed electrician regarding any wiring or installation.

Great explanation on the video. This made it super easy to install the 3-way switch compared to figuring out the directions for a non electrician.

What is not mentioned in video is to take a mental note of the traveller wire colour that attached to the blue wire in the sensor installed. This wire remains untouched in the second switch box. It’s the other traveller wire that needs to combined with the load/common wire and pigtailed to the black screw on this second switch box that makes it work perfectly. If you fail to do this what happens is that when you press switch box 2 on/off it will cut off power completely to circuit and sensor stops working until you press the switch again. I learned this the hard way. but this video does show the red wire not touched in switch 2 because it is attached to blue wire on sensor side

I was able to get this fixed to where both outlets on my garage are controlled correctly, but now, my ceiling outlet for my garage door opener is not working. Is the red wire what ultimately takes power to the ceiling outlet or is it from somewhere else? Driving me nuts not knowing how to get power back to that ceiling outlet

Good advice, but one comment: in the instructions that came with my Lutron Maestro MS-OPS5M it says the blue wire on the Lutron should be connected to one of the traveler screws on the mechanical switch. So I used both traveler wires, and it works fine. This is different from the video.

Anyone have ideas of something other then a dead switch on the wall from a 3 way switch install?

What about a 3 way that has:
    1 black wire,
    1 red wire,
    1 white wire,
1 bare wire. How do I work with this?
