Poo is a really hard driven gamer, he's had several WRs in speedrunning but I also think his chair actually makes it harder for him lmao
@@poisonbarb75 WRs are cool, but championships is what defines the best. Its not as hard to drive laps in single player than making same lap in a field of just as good players.

I could be wrong but haven’t most cars changed a bit since max set that time nearly 5 years ago? If you look at the lap records basically every car on every track is slower than a few years ago… again I could be wrong, though.
I feel like max's original lap was from a year or two ago? I may be wrong but i remember seeing it a while ago and thinking Max is more robot than human.
It's a hybrid: the robot part does the auto pilot, the human part watches the race on the big screens while harassing GP.

Would be nice to know, indeed. But I think it doesn't really matter. Make it your ideal conditions (that's what they did here), and set your best time.

The roval this year was the first motorsports event I attended since some drag racing in Bithlo many many years ago, loved the track and good racing throughout the field there. Always happy to see it represented more.
Are there no drag sections? if all on track at same time theres a few tenths there

Oh it's possible but a matter of preference. More immersion but it's not that mandatory when you already have triple screens.

1.05.283 on my G29 is the best I can do. But I don't know setups, so with a setup I think I could push 1.04.

but it's the people that hate checo for "reasons" who claim max isn't that fast, it is all the car, and Checo can't keep up with a mid driver with a great car. Maybe I missed the point, but I don't get this one. All fans of Checo that I know can admit Max is the best driver in a generation...

@@noconsent Im not sure If you're aware but the majority of Checo's fanbase truthfully beleave that Checo is the ultimate nr1 driver of RB. Checo's performance is so bad that fans from Mexico start to beleave that Checo and Max have different cars.

There is no cheat car.
They have the same car but they run their own personal setups. Checo even tried Max's setup from time to time but he doesnt like it. He also mentioned this in interviews.
Let me share a funny fact: Checo only won 6 times in his 13 year long F1 career. Those 6 wins were all based on luck. He only won cause Max had mechanical failures. There is no cheating car. There is just a skill gab. And If you cant see this skill gab (like you) then you just being willfully delusional. The data aint lying. Checo is noob.

Even using a vr driving cockpit doesn't give the real feel of the vehicle on the road. I've driven around 24 hour Daytona in a car that is meant to be on a road course. You can feel the car settle like no vr setup can give you. It's worth a second or more. So far, GT7 has been my closest to live racing experience. The curbs aren't right but the traction is definately better than anything I have seen in F1 or NASCAR series e racing.

This F3 and many other cars use paddles but almost every proper simmer can use an H-shifter + clutch pedal. Many of them also use heel-and-toe. The throttle and brake pedals and steering are difficult enough (regardless to the kind of shifting) and you need a lot of skill and precision to get a great lap. There is a huge difference between imagination and simulation. Actually, the correlation between driving in advanced sims (AC, RF2, AMS2, iRacing, RBR etc.) and reality is extremely close to 1. And since I have beaten lap records both IRL and in sims, I know that for a fact.
Pretty sure there is no actual Max in video because during the run he was banned several times for crashing into people.
