The contest won't be in Valletta should they win hun, overpopulated kip anyway
@@darryl3394 the contest will most probably be held Ta' Qali or another constructed arena however Valletta is reached within minutes (Malta is small remember), tourists will be able to visit any other part of the island including sister islands Gozo and Comino when they come for the competition, if Malta does win of course.
@@katrulez1000 Wrong again, depending on what time of day you're planning to travel you could be talking the best part of an hour or 90 minutes to get from Valletta or Sliema to Ta 'Qali taking with traffic on the island and roadworks not changed from 1960's. It will probably be a contest like this year with minimal fans so wouldn't worry about a large arena.

That's kind of true. This version highlights her voice, but if this were the actual song, then I wouldn't like it. I like how catchy "Je Me Casse" is, so this version is just missing something for my taste.

We would have had this EPIC version if Eurovision didn't impose the rule of not having a symphonic orchestra years ago...
If this still doesn't give you any reason to vote for Malta this year, then I don't know what will.

It's not a rule. It's up to each host country whether they have a live orchestra or not. But it's just not financially or logistically possible anymore. If anyone would have done it when they hosted it would have been Portugal, but even they said it wasn't possible.
@@Marzi29 Unfortunately it's a rule! If you check the rules of the contest on the official Eurovision website, you will see there is a clear specific ban on live music. And it has been there since 2004. The Norwegian broadcaster NRK thought about offering their broadcasting orchestra in 2010( voluntary for those entries who would like to use it), but it was turned down by the EBU early in the planning. The truth is that the EBU wants to emphasize the ESC as a contest in entertainment and not as a contest in music. So this is an ideological choice by them, and not because it isn't possible. Because it is perfectly possible, but challenging, of course. It’s not cheap paying for musicians and sound engeneers, but I think that in a music(!)contest you should pay for musicians before you pay for those people putting up expensive led screens etc. And that’s were the current concept or ideology comes in - a show contest more than a music contest. But don’t get me wrong, I'm not that old fashioned persion who wants to take away the visual parts. The visual and kitchy part has been a part of the contest almost since the beginning . But with the right people in charge of the contest, maybe a new generation of TV producers who thinks that live music matters, I'm 100 % sure it could be possible to balance the current concept with a great live orchestra production.
