I came looking for copper and I found gold!
This painting is beautiful, and how you have achieved the 3d effect on the bottle is superb! I was looking for inspiration to start drawing and painting again after a long period of artistic block, and I also wanted to learn a bit about other techniques. The colour combination is excellent, and the shading effects are truly realistic. It almost looks like a picture!
I appreciate a lot -and I think I speak for everyone watching this video- that you have included the materials you have used in the description so that I know what tools are needed for anyone who wants to try and make it.
In the second 0:22, you use the airbrush, and the shadow of the bottle is exactly the same as a real one, but, in case whoever wants to try this shading technique doesn’t have this tool, what do you recommend to make it look that way and in those colours? Since first you use a darker colour and, after this, the green and blue shadows.
I wish I could find more tutorials like this, and drawings so well done and made with such precision! Thanks for your dedication and for posting such good videos!
Thank you very much for the nice comment. If I don´t had an airbrush, I would try out pastel colors oder graphite powder with a brush. Hope, you enjoy the upcoming videos. 🙂
