This North Carolina native is not only an author and musician, but a filmmaker as well, steeped in the lore of the notoriously haunted region. Lalush draws his inspiration from that very same lore, as well as from his own supernatural experiences, in order to craft an ultra dark reality. Not so much as a hiatus, but rather, a changing of gears. With revenue in the toilet for 8 months straight, a lot of things have been forced to change. We're working out arrangements at this time that will keep the project moving.
Chilling Tales for Dark Nights I can understand that. It's sad that such a high quality program as yourself are going through these hard times. You guys should pitch a show to Netflix. that site need a good horror anthology show
We agree. We would have liked to come to Netflix and say, "Look how much money we were able to raise on our own" but the Kickstarter didn't pan out. Our series would need to be animated in order to incorporate our existing voice talent.

We are not. We have new shows coming out, and are going on a brief hiatus to get new SSP episodes prepped with a new producer at the helm.
I have a love/hate relationship with this episode as there are five stories and I liked 3 out of 5. The two I didn't like were Self Predator as I felt like it was trying to be gross for gross sake and conceptual art.. 'cause.. well.. I didn't get it. So six people got erased from existence? That's it? But other than that the episode was fine but what will happen to the simply scary folks? Did they make it? This new computer could be a new host for the next season.. granted if the computer lets you guys have a next season and if not.. call me.. I have some viruses that I can introduce that bucket o bolts to. ;)

Video game one was garbage.
I can't help but feel that these are all incomplete stories. The first one is just terribly derivative, the author is even aware of it and references what he's ripping off.
They just all seem to be set pieces that are supposed to be scary, but aren't because there's no proper build up to them.

Said it before and I'll say it again.
Writers, no one wants to listen to your political opinion in your story. Omit it entirely, it is such a turn off for the listener.
Your story might have even been good past it, but I refuse to listen to it after that.
Writing is an exercise in humanity and self-expression. There's an audience for anything, just listen to/read something else if you don't like it, or give it a shot and you might develop a more broad perspective.
Because the first story mentioned 'electing an incompetent man as president'? I mean if she could see the present online she surely saw all the mistakes he's made and proven how incompetent he is. So it's not political opinion, it's fact.
Am I the only one that finds mispronunciation of simple words by narrators infuriating?
