Q&A (Not an FAQ, no one has asked lol):
Q. Is this actually a Plus mod?
A. Indeed it is! Plus can do most things a decompile can if you push it to its limits.
Q. Is this for mod makers? For players?
A. Both! I'm planning on supporting four formats, one for the editor, one for mods to load, one for mods to load for custom rooms for the generator, and one for the play mode of the editor itself!
Q. You should add X/Y/Z
A. Not a question, but. Feel free to ask, just as long as it isn't obvious, like of course I'm going to be adding more room types and doors and objects! This is all very WIP!

This is very cool and I can't wait to see what this mod/engine has to offer. It's defiantly going to make it easier to make mods and other cool stuff.

Looks really cool! I guess you have a knack for making level editors. I guess this is kinda obvious of a suggestion but are you planning on adding a top down perspective mode? It would be nice just to see the whole level at once.
Due to walls being really thin, I don't think a top down perspective would be really clear, but I guess I can experiment with an orthographic camera option.

Could you update the Baldi Basic plus Dev api tutorial, because the video is very long and difficult to understand, please don't ignore that I want to play the mods

Will there be packaged levels? Like maybe BBCR in plus, that one Demo map with 8 Notebooks and some cool original maps.
along with all the rooms we've seen we can place down, we are most likely also gonna be able to place down Dr. reflex's office, and also the janitor closet. ( I don't know how Dr. reflex's office will work tho, as any time the room generates ( witch always happens on floor 2 and floor 3.) its already a preset room! Maybe the chairs in Reflex's office will be decorations ( making it so that we could extend the room bigger than its premade is. )
This would take me forever for me to make the same thing as you but you whipped everything in 4 days!!

There's probably going to be more options in the future like characters, items, etc.

@@XBCMakesMusic Yes you'll be able to extend the map size, and yes you'll be able to place duplicate characters(possibly with a few exceptions due to game crashes)

What? I am so impressed. How was this Possible? I know you can make new contents like characters, items, etc but not a full new Menu/Mode I have a question too is there option for the editors option? To have 3 levels in one like how many levels you want An editor Like For example Like can you make like 5 Levels And put it in one level pack And there's an elevator to go Higher like in hide and seek mode.

can you make a tutorial on how to install the level editor, ive spent at least an hour trying to make it work and i am on the verge of breaking down
Hey can you show us a video on how to install custom levels because I’m having trouble with doing it
my one suggestion is to have a setting for the building icons where they have a picture of their room so that way people like me can find stuff more easily and people who prefer letters can do that too
the icons are placeholders and will likely be completely redone!

and also a preset loader/folder/menu where downloadable presets from gamebanana and/or gamejolt can be placed

I was trying to build a level on my steam deck and it was hard,had to switch over to keyboard and mouse configuration and it was hard to make a level
@@jacobsthirdchannel8804 I use the same functions the game uses, so if it helps, pressing "Escape" would be the same button as it would be on the controller, clicking would be the same as the interact button on the controller and right click would be the same as the use item button. The only direct bug I've noticed is that you can't drag the camera around properly without the mouse so If I can figure that out I'll fix it
@@missingtextureman101 you can control it by holding RT for some reason and the mouse is a little offset,so can you make a option so where the BB+ cursor is hidden and the the regular is shown,that could be very helpful in my case

Please refer to the Q&A. But maps will be sharable for the editor itself, in the editors playmode, or as files that modders can import in code for their mods, or as a premade room
hey i put the files of the textures and the bepinEX and the api modder but when i put level editor in plugins it doesn't show the button

i actually had the idea for a bb+ level editor far, far before infinite hall architect. I even had most of it's actual functionality in terms of how it works planned out far before IHA. Infinite Hall Architect is a great classic mod, and is the only editor mod that I know of that isn't atrocious to use. My editor doesn't control like infinite hall architect, and anyone can make a baldi level editor.

Will there be a classic remastered version?
No. I have no interest in maintaining this mod for BBCR, primarily because since 0.4 BBCR and BB+ have wildly different codebases, and this mod relies on the 0.4 codebase significantly. I'd have to practically rewrite the mod and because of that, I have no interest.
