WHY GARIMA’S POV
Garima Goel is a public figure for the past 15 years where she has donned many hats in the media industry ranging from Anchor producer in ABP news for entertainment section, Entertainment head for Times of India group channel Zoom tv , Group entertainment editor for Sahara group.
Post her stint in media world, Garima moved on to the corporate side of film-making which is Viacom 18 Motion pictures. She worked as a senior brand manager in the movie marketing division for 2 years handling projects like Paramount pictures MI-GP, Jack Reacher, The Dictator, Madagascar 2 and a lot of Hindi film projects like Boss, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Tanu weds Manu, Gangs of Wasseypur etc.
During her corporate job behind the camera, Garima realized her love for being infront of camera, not as an anchor this time, but as an ACTOR.
So she went to Barry John Acting School where the famous Barry John taught her acting. He is the teacher of the likes of SRK, Manoj Bajpai and Richa Chadha to name a few. After securing a top position in her acting school Garima ventured into the big bad mystical world of acting. She had beginners luck where she worked in movies like Lipstick Under My Burqa, Jai gangajal, Shamitabh, TV shows like Tarak Mehta, Pyaar ka dard, CID, Adalat , Agent Raghav, Baalveer etc She also did a lot of ads but nothing to her hearts desire and content.
Garima wanted to make a mark in the acting world, but casting couch propositions and last minute replacements in big films and TV serials as a leading lady broke her emotionally. It also lead her into depression.
Garima faught hard and during her therapy sessions, the idea of starting a CZcams channel came up. So she started her journey as a youtuber along with her dying acting career.
Today Garima is a storng voice in CZcams community with more than 4 million followers on her channel Garima’s Good Life. She started her channel with the intention of helping upcoming actors and people who wanted to join the glamour world. Garima did a successful 50 episode series called ‘How to become an actor’ on het YT channel which was a huge success. She even realized that common people loved her shoot vlogs which have garnered millions of views on her channel. Hence, it was time for her to bring a fresh POV on the glamour world and decode it for her millions of followers across social media platforms.
In all these 15 years, Garima has been on all sides of movie and TV business. So her knowledge and experiences make for an intriguing and engaging PODCAST session.
Nepotism isn't a wrong concept. It's not nepokids fault to be born in celeb family. But the outsiders should get the opportunity equally.
Then outsiders should not fall for celebs

Nepotism is everywhere. But the problem starts when outsiders are not treated nicely and respectfully. The star kids should also learn to accept that they are privileged in their field, like ranbir did. Also bollywood industry should stop forcefully feeding the audience with nepo kids who can't act. Like ananya, tiger, Sara, jahnvi. We don't have any problem with talented star kids like Hritik, Ranbir, Farhan, Aamir, etc.

Kam se Kam hum common log Kisika rasta block nahi karte. Par Industry ke Nepo Kids bahut insecure ho jaate hain outsiders ko lekar. Isliye woh kuch bhi suna dete hain. Lekin agar galti se bhi kisi outsider ne kisi Nepo kids ko suna Diya samjho usi din se ye Film Fraternity uske pichhe paagal kutton ki tarah pad jaati hai.

The question is about opportunity. A lot of talentless celeb kids are acting in movies bcos their fathers have massive favours/funds invested in those movies. So they are not surviving for their talent. Bollywood movies are few in numbers. There are so many talented people who don’t get a chance ever.
I want to see SRK, Kangana Ranaut, Aishwarya, Madhuri, Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Ayushmann Khurrana, Mrunal Thakur..........................

Public don't want to see these waste kids, its just their PR who fed us and nobody is obsessed about them. We have seen how bad could be nepotism where Chichhore didn't get any award and SOTY 2 got all the awards even after such a blow.
There’s immense talent outside , check out reality shows ,why only star kids with zero talent ?? Movies industry is already become a dynasty with a wall & outsider is not allowed . Industry has lost sushant singh Rajput who was already a star . There shouldn’t be another sushant .Equal opportunity needs to be given . The concept of nepotism should be abolished & selection should be based on talent only .

Frankly speaking I dont follow any of the starkids on social media. And I don't want to know about them. Ha acha suhana khan ki film aa rahi h okay. Bas trailer dekha jaise aur koi movie ke trailer dekhte h. Then I ll wait for film to release and the reviews given by audience n critics. Ha aap yeh bhi keh sake h ki critics ko kharida hua h ache reviews dene. But as a audience we are not fool right. If we like trailer, if we like songs ya jitna bhi content movie ka release ke pehle aaya ho. We would go and watch the movie. Irrespective of who is in it. N if we don't like trailer or songs or the actor we won't go and watch. It's as simple as it is.

Nepotism dose not work in bollywood at all.. coz the judges r the audience.. a filmy kid might get a chance before you.. but if he doesn't have it .. public will reject u .. examples.. Abhishek bacchan..Tushar Kapoor.. shatrughan both son's..Uday Chopra..the list is endless..

Hello saw your episode totally agree nepotism is there but saying that it’s because people eager to see them is totally wrong. These stars spent lot of money on PR and showcase their kids on all the platforms so that each n everyone know who they are no matter what they have done anything or not.

Nepotism is in Bollywood but most the nepo actors wont get success. If u will take example of Rhitik roshan success, his father was not so successful. Same as Raj Kapoor and his brothers all were successful but their kids were no so much only karishma, kareena got success but again their father was not successful only exception is ranbir in the family. U can take lots of examples like this

Correction: Actually kisiko Taimur ko nahin dekhna tha. Paid paparazzi ko Taimur ko duniya ko dikhaana tha. Aaj tak ek aadmi se mila jisne kaha ho “Taimur ko dekha tune”? Its all paid PR. Problem is there is so much poverty and unemployment that people will do anything for some chump change.
