I have been wanting to get a couple of these, but I'm not drilling holes in my $90k RS5 dash. 3M stuff is very good and strong and probably would have no issue. The only thing I would be concerned about is the heat deteriorating the adhesive.
If you can afford a 90k$ RS5 can you not afford to replace the plastic piece you mounted the gun to after removing the item? Use 3M for temporary mounting to find where you truly want the firearm. I drive an f150 fx4 “$45k” so I guess being half the price I must be half as smart 🤷♂️ just a recommendation don’t stress too much about my comment
Please be careful using this to charge the weapon. Semiautomatic pistols are not designed to “ride the slide forward” like this product does. It is a very quick way to get a jam should you need to use your weapon.

When sitting normally in the driver’s seat, does the position/location of the gun cause any inconveniences?
I have not had any issues with my leg hitting the weapon while driving. I’m 5’9, someone with longer legs may have a different experience.
