Jimmy’s put a lot of love into R32 Skyline GT-R, specifically the built-out RB26 engine. It’s been tricked out a twin scroll BorgWarner turbocharger, a surge tank, and it’s all chilled by a sweet intercooler by Plazmaman. But @ferasqartoumy's Corvette is a professional on the unlimited time attack circuits! The front Infinity Wing aero is huge and chassis-mounted, the back wing is dual-plane and ACTIVE, and LME provides the LONG BLOCK engine built for drag racing. It might even have TOO MUCH downforce to take Jimmy’s AWD!

The fact that these races happen 15 minutes from my house, and that I’ve stood on that airstrip multiple times, kind of bums me out that I can’t just go watch since I never know when they’re filming.
get a hunting cam. one of the ones that reads motion. Some of them have ways of connecting themselves to your computer back home, and then whenever it gets movement it’ll notify you. Eventually 🤷🏼♂️

This was a damn good race, each car played to their strengths, there were surprises, emotions were high, the winner was obvious from the start but still exciting nonetheless.

That Skyline hung in way better than I thought it would and the driver definitely has the reflexes of a pro racer. He was all over those starts and didn't miss a beat. Kudos to him, his car, and his entire build team!

Two things I really appreciated this episode, 1 gtr owner had a great attitude(true car guy), 2 the Corvette not being obnoxiously loud
the exhaust is coming out directly out the manifold. you can see the short ass pipes. the reason it seems quiet is the microphones are peaking so it sounds way way way quieter than it actually is.
Well it is just dumps right out of the turbos. The turbos muffle it a lot.
Why don't people try the blown diffuser thing that redbull did on their RB6
It'd be cool if you could show the final speeds across the line, would give a little more perspective to how fast they're actually going

Skyline has always been my favorite Jdm car. Especially the r32 and 34.

@@reddbanger420 mounted right next to the door frame on the drivers side, top, right where the doorframe and A pillar meet. That way its close to the driver n we could see everything!

Desert 1320 does this on his videos, he films drag racing, street and track. Somtimes it's mounted on the A pillar and somtimes it's on a big stick thingy that's stuck to the back window. Would be sweet on these videos for sure

If your talking about the vette he never said that. He basically said "as it stands today, the car could make 1200 on high boost." 900 on low. Low is what it was set at atm.

That third race was EPIC!! Damn that GT-R can launch hard, I didn't think it had anything resembling a chance. Kudos to the build and the driver, he's on it.
All wheel drive rules on the dusty runway! Can't outrun that many horses and a sequential box though.
AWD is king. Vette just can't put the power down from a standing start with 900hp on the rear wheels only.
