He was quite strong before the rework. I used him in sortie exterminates. Even if they're eximus strongholds, he could out kill most warframes. But they had to rework him because a warframe with only 1 real ability and having 3 meme abilities is not good.
And now atlas prime is coming out, maybe the main reason why he isn't used that much (the fact that he's so hard to farm for new players) won't matter that much now
This guy is one of the strongest frames now. You need to just petrify and punch everything. This gives you insane armor with like 95% DR as well as the ability to heal himself. Which is all he needed to be broken. Now he's imortal and one of the highest dps frames in the game.
Ravus or at least a duration that can be extended when you pick up rubble. On a side note i wanna see him play chains of harrow as inaros while listening to thriller. I just wanna see his reaction.
An alternative could also be that the rubble armor only decreases when taking damage or just better would be to somehow let it act similar to Inaros' Scarab Armor
It’s so nice being able to look at this for reference and know…. Enemy levels used to be somewhat forgiving and now Atlas can’t so much as tickle high level enemies unless you throw Roar or something on him.
imagine his 4 being like the conclave mod turning twice as big and his 2 allowing you to roll inside the boulder and steer it for a limited duration, that would make everything useable
I think Atlas Prime is my most used warframe. He's a solid frame in my opinion. I actually did a whole Archon hunt with just Atlas and an Arca Plasmor.
I knew I sensed a Rumbla from down unda! And when they said he can collect rocky bits, I thought of that slime champ from LoL. Didn't know they actually made it neon colored, hah #RockNRoll #PunchyBoi OH! And #WatlusWhiteIAmTheOneWhoRocks
atlas was my first frame in the game after volt .. i was still new to the game and didn't know that i'v just picked the least used frame with my start up plat .. but he was worth it .. for a newbie atlas can be very versatile and helpful .. and even though i've used atlas 40% of the time .. i never aim to use his 1 and just punch everywhere .. for his survivability issue now with the eidolon having the arcanes a couple of arcane guardians + steel fiber will be great .. u can use void singularity to vacuum enemies in 1 spot/freez/punch and build ur rubble armor .. and hunter adrenaline for energy .. the walls will benefit from all the armor buff .. paired with the LENZ for more AOE damage .. his 1 is for damage .. his 2 is for defence .. his 3 is for crowd control .. his 4 is for agro and distraction .. his passive is for awesomeness .. so Atlas is a the full package 😎
I know im almost 1 year late but still. About the Petrify/Rumble armor mechanic. I have a build.. well build.. its more like a whole setup actually(melee weapons builds included) so continue reading only if you are really interested cuz this is gonna be long as F-(CLEM!). *F in a brackets means that mod is in slot with corresponding polarity* *Atty* : 1 Forma(I think i added D). Steel Charge(F duh); Power Drift; Stretch; Fleeting Expertise(F) ; Hunter Adrenaline; Steamline; Steel Fiber(F); Vitality(F); Ore Gaze; Blind Rage R8(F). And my total mod capacity at this point is 5/78. The Ore Gaze is actually contraproductive when it comes to survivability because if the enemy drops extra loot, he doesnt drop the armor providing rubble. Plus, the drop chance is affected by Ability Strength. I still run into energy issues here and there so you might wanna Swap Ore Gaze for Intensify and blind rage for Transient Fortitude which would then allow you to swap Streamline for Continuity to maintain some reasonable CC, same damage and far more reliable survivability for less energy at the cost of no extra loot for you. As for melee I have 3 Choices: One of Two Obex Variants(Entropy Detonation mod = Energy); Hirudo(Helf); Sancti Magistar(Helf). I like using some attack speed mods to make up for the Spoiled Strike because i dont like relying solely on abilities. *Obex* : 2 Forma. I added 1 Dash(for one of the 3 elements) and i changed the stance slot polarity(I fcking hate Brutal TIde) Grim Fury(F duh); Elemental mod#1(F); Elemental mod#2; Spoiled Strike; Entropy Detonation; Pressure Point; True Steel; Organ Shatter; Fury. You need to be in full melee mode to make the Entropy Detonation work. And chage attacks of any sparing weapon instantly performs counterattack finisher resulting in either instakill or fcking heavy damage. Humanoids(Lancers etc) have to be approached from the front or behind for the counterattack finisher to work, while Infested and Moas have to be approached only from behind. *Hirudo* :1 Forma: Changed Stance slot polarity again. Grim Fury (F duh); True Steel(F); Organ Shatter; Pressure Point; Berserker; Fury; Spoiled Strike; Elemental mod#1;Elemental mod #2. Hirudos' Leech on Critical hits(in-game it's called "Invigorated") works even if you are not in full melee mode. Counter attack finishers tho are i think always critical hits but im not sure if they contribute to the "Leech" gimick of Hirudo. I'd be lying if i said anything more than this. *Sancti Magistar* :1 Forma(Dash for elemental mod) Shattering Storm (F duh); Pressure Point(F); True Steel; Organ Shatter;Elemental mod #1(F); Elemental mod #2; Elemental mod #3; Fury; Spoiled Strike. Full melee mode provides a status imunity and successfully landed charge attacks emit a pulse which heals everything it touches(affectable by Reach). If you hit 3 enemies with 1 Charge attack you emit 3 pulses. The healing factor has been nerfed tho. So now you can heal yourself, your allies and allied objects(Cryopods, Excavators..)for 200-300 HP per pulse..which is still good if you ask me but it used to be slightly more than 2000 which was a lot better(duh).

Same with Mesa, Wukong, and others. Hell, what about the ones that have quests tied to them? What about the ones that have the good, difficult-yet-interesting ones? Who's really gonna bother with Sands of Inaros when Inaros Prime comes out? Or Glast Gambit for Nidus Prime? Say what you want, I don't think it's right to just "skip" that effort. Especially when it involves a quest. I've literally just started telling my newer friends to grind Mesa Prime, cuz it's easier than farming Mutalist Alad V and the coordinates.
I’m very much against this. Warframe is a very newbie-unfriendly game as it stands. Most players understand this, and most veterans are happy to help new players because they know how rough the newbies have it. A policy like this would just make it 100x worse. Just because we were tortured to get the frames we wanted, doesn’t mean we should wish that torture on other people.
Alternate approach to this idea: Isn't it better that you can get Prime parts a little easier than taking on assassinations for them? And even if it is, wouldn't that make the non-Prime variants worth more respect? If for no other reason than you worked hard to receive it. I don't see the problem with the way Warframe has handled their Warframes and Primes, but I do see a problem with the idea of "If you didn't get it this way, you did it wrong", especially with a game like Warframe where the entire point of it is "play your way".
I remember one time I was in a dojo dueling arena, and I punched the opponent so hard that it glitched the game, went through the barrier, and KOd the audience
love my atlas...best frame to use when its those one weapon locked sorties or if you wanna train any weapon expect your melee...also if you have an annoying limbo because rift cant stop the punching action
You could punch people with Atlas....Or you could equip some knuckle dusters, and punch people with rhino instead, you'll probably kill them faster that way.
