THIS mix is actually really special to NCTzens because they were the OG members to debut with 'The 7th Sense'... we haven't had this lineup in over 7 years. Members included are; Taeyong (127/SuperM) Mark (127/Dream/SuperM) Doyoung (127/DJJ) Jaehyun (127/DJJ) Ten (WayV/SuperM) Ten is the member you're not familiar with... he is the center of WayV and a great soloist as well. Also, just happens to be one of the best dancers in all of kpop (THE best imo). I've only seen your nct reactions but its similar to GOT the beat a girl group version of this concept which includes some aespa and red velvet members for example.

"Baggy Jeans" is the title track for the NCT 2023 Golden Age album that just released and the song "Golden Age" was a pre-release song with all the members. What this means is, every few years NCT release a full group album in which ALL active members of that particular participate and the album is made up of different NCT U songs with the members in different combinations. And everytime they do this they also release a SONG with EVERY member involved. "NCT 2023 Golden Age" was that song for this Golden Age album. It's a very beautiful song with all 20 members in it about how the members are together even when they're separate and is about appreciating a new phase in their lives and careers. Previously their year project albums and group songs have been: NCT 2018 Empathy album, with the full group song "Black on Black" (an insane dance choreography focused song- only 18 members at the time), NCT 2020 Resonance Album with the song "Resonance" (another crazy song that actually was a mash up of their title tracks from the album and had amazing choreography - 23 members), and NCT 2021 Universe Album with the song "Beautiful" (a "beautiful" song about self-love). And now NCT 2023. They don't happen on strict schedule, it's just whenever their company announces they'll have one. So we have no clue when the next year project album from NCT will be, but it's always a big deal and time of great excitement for NCTzens to see our boys come together. Especially since they're usually so busy in their fixed units throughout the year that these albums are the few time they're able to meet up with and hang out with their other members. Also you may have noticed me mentioning how many members were in each year project albums. Since 2016, NCT has consistently added new members to the group. They used to have a concept of "limitless expansion" meaning they would keep growing. And they have. However, their company did announce this year (2022), that that concept is over and after they get their last unit, their Japanese unit, NCT will be completely done adding new members. This means that fans have seen NCT grow over the years, but we've also seen them lose members unfortunately. In 2016, their debut year, there were 15 confirmed members: Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. In 2017, they added Johnny to 127 for a total of 16. In 2018, they added Lucas and Jungwoo for a total of 18. In 2019, WayV debuted and added Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang, for a total of 21. In 2020, Shotaro and Sungchan were added for a total of 23. In 2021, Lucas had a scandal and left the group, bringing them down to 22. And that's how it was for all of 2022. Then in 2023, their company SM removed Shotaro and Sungchan to debut them in a separate, non-NCT related boygroup called Riize (who will be debuting in September), so NCT is back down to 20 members. There's currently a reality show airing to determine who will be in the Japanese unit of NCT, but it's been confirmed that there will only be 6 members picked for that unit. So NCT will be complete with 26 members. I imagine the next full group album wouldn't come til we get all 26 lol! *TL;DR*: anytime you see NCT (Blank Year) that just means it's referring to ALL the members of NCT of that particular year. And it's usually accompanied by a song and album. Fans also label funny moment videos like that to show that they're including moments from the whole group. Sorry for the rant, I don't know how to be short-winded lmao especially with the mammoth that is NCT.

'Golden Age' is one of only 4 mv's with all the members included. Since you love vocals and rapping, I think you're gonna love 'Golden Age'. Previous full group projects are; NCT 2018 Empathy, NCT 2020 Resonance, NCT 2021 Universe and now NCT 2023 Golden Age. Having listened to the whole album a couple of times today, I can confirm that it's FANTASTIC. Every song is great and gives us variety in a way that only NCT can manage. What makes "Baggy Jeans" extra special is that this is NCT-U's original debut lineup back together again. This is really just them going back to their roots. All 5 members -- Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Jaehyun and Doyoung -- were the very first members out of all of the NCT members to debut. They were the first installment of NCT-U and the first of all of NCT's sub-units to be introduced to the world. Ten said not too long ago in an interview that he wanted to do another project with "The 7th Sense" members because it had been more than 7 years since he had done anything with just those members. I'm so happy that SM was listening and that his wish came true. The guy you didn't recognize is Ten who is from Thailand, and he is one of the main dancers of NCT and a member of WayV, NCT's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit. He is extremely talented -- he is considered to be one of the best dancers in the entire industry, he has an amazing singing voice, he's a great rapper, he's fluent in 5 languages, he's one of the NCT members with the most solo releases and he is also a very skilled drawer and graphic design artist, etc.
Wow I am always impressed by the multilingual abilities of so many of these people! Thank you for the fun reaction. NCT is known for it's Swag, versatility, and experimentation with concepts and sound. It's the reason I love them. They're never run of the mill or boring, and each new configuration of members has it's own flavor. They've all been together for a really long time, and most of them trained together since their teens. So they grew up together literally. I don't know if you've checked out Dream's killing voice yet, but that unit consists of most of NCT'S maknaes (youngest) 1999-2002. They just celebrated their 7th anniversary. They debuted in 2016. Mark Lee is their unit leader. Mark and Jisung (Gee-Sung) the current maknae of all NCT and subunit Dream, just did a Studio Choom mix & max you might like too. golden age is the other title track from their 4th NCT (as a whole) album along with baggy jeans. It includes all of the 20 members. The album is fully made up of NCT U songs with different member combinations. they do these whole NCT albums every couple of years. I definitely recommend listening to the 2023 album

Not gonna lie NCT is one of the most intimidating as a new fan to get into just because of the number of people and songs. I know a lot of reactors just play the videos and don't care about names or who the people are but I like to do my best to recognize that these are not products they're people you know? I don't know if anyone already answered your question, but nct 2023 is for this year's project as a whole group, the song is called golden age (just as the album), there is: nct 2018 (album: empathy), nct 2020 (album: resonance), nct 2021 (album: universe) and now 2023 (album: golden age). when it has the year after nct, it means the song has all of the current members in nct.
Since other commenters already answered most of your questions, I just want to comment: it’s interesting you mentioned about Doyoung’s shoulder because, another youtube reactor was drawn to him just merely by his shoulder moves :)) NCT 2023 is NCT - insert year - which simply means: it’s the year whenever ALL NCT members participated in a comeback… Whereas NCT U, is individual projects (released singles for NCT album, K-drama soundtracks, collaborations, or whatever special projects) where ANY number of ANY member from ANY sub-unit can be in it depending on what the song requires, how many harmony layers, how many rappers, how many vocalists etc. Therefore, ALL tracks within NCT 2023’s GOLDEN AGE album (yes there is an MV for GOLDEN AGE if you wish to react to it), wherever and whenever the members and sub-units overlap, are identified as NCT U. In every full NCT comeback there is always one track where EVERYONE participated, and could be ballad, hard core hip hop, their signature old school RnB, Jazz, Funk, or whatever these experimental kings want to do. GOLDEN AGE is that track for 2023. There are NCT 2018, NCT 2020, NCT 2021 albums as well. I hope the above is not confusing and helps a little bit to understand the difference between NCT U and NCT (year). So we have no clue when the next year project album from NCT will be, but it's always a big deal and time of great excitement for NCTzens to see our boys come together. Especially since they're usually so busy in their fixed units throughout the year that these albums are the few time they're able to meet up with and hang out with their other members.
Also you may have noticed me mentioning how many members were in each year project albums. Since 2016, NCT has consistently added new members to the group. They used to have a concept of "limitless expansion" meaning they would keep growing. And they have. However, their company did announce this year (2022), that that concept is over and after they get their last unit, their Japanese unit, NCT will be completely done adding new members. This means that fans have seen NCT grow over the years, but we've also seen them lose members unfortunately. In 2016, their debut year, there were 15 confirmed members: Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. In 2017, they added Johnny to 127 for a total of 16. In 2018, they added Lucas and Jungwoo for a total of 18. In 2019, WayV debuted and added Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang, for a total of 21. In 2020, Shotaro and Sungchan were added for a total of 23. In 2021, Lucas had a scandal and left the group, bringing them down to 22. And that's how it was for all of 2022. Then in 2023, their company SM removed Shotaro and Sungchan to debut them in a separate, non-NCT related boygroup called Riize (who will be debuting in September), so NCT is back down to 20 members. There's currently a reality show airing to determine who will be in the Japanese unit of NCT, but it's been confirmed that there will only be 6 members picked for that unit. So NCT will be complete with 26 members. I imagine the next full group album wouldn't come til we get all 26 lol!
*TL;DR*: anytime you see NCT (Blank Year) that just means it's referring to ALL the members of NCT of that particular year. And it's usually accompanied by a song and album. Fans also label funny moment videos like that to show that they're including moments from the whole group. Sorry for the rant, I don't know how to be short-winded lmao especially with the mammoth that is NCT.

'Golden Age' is the title track (along with 'Baggy Jeans') for the new album of the same name, that dropped today. NCT 2023 just means it's a full group album in 2023. 'Golden Age' is one of only 4 mv's with all the members included. Since you love vocals and rapping, I think you're gonna love 'Golden Age'. Previous full group projects are; NCT 2018 Empathy, NCT 2020 Resonance, NCT 2021 Universe and now NCT 2023 Golden Age.
Having listened to the whole album a couple of times today, I can confirm that it's FANTASTIC. Every song is great and gives us variety in a way that only NCT can manage. I highly recommend an album listen!

What makes "Baggy Jeans" extra special is that this is NCT-U's original debut lineup back together again. This is really just them going back to their roots. All 5 members -- Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Jaehyun and Doyoung -- were the very first members out of all of the NCT members to debut. They were the first installment of NCT-U and the first of all of NCT's sub-units to be introduced to the world. Ten said not too long ago in an interview that he wanted to do another project with "The 7th Sense" members because it had been more than 7 years since he had done anything with just those members. I'm so happy that SM was listening and that his wish came true.
The guy you didn't recognize is Ten who is from Thailand, and he is one of the main dancers of NCT and a member of WayV, NCT's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit. He is extremely talented -- he is considered to be one of the best dancers in the entire industry, he has an amazing singing voice, he's a great rapper, he's fluent in 5 languages, he's one of the NCT members with the most solo releases and he is also a very skilled drawer and graphic design artist, etc.
Wow I am always impressed by the multilingual abilities of so many of these people! I think it's really cool that they get the original members together for projects, I was just saying in a different reply that this reminds me of comic books how heroes will pair up and group up and mix and match. Such an interesting concept for a musical group!

Thank you for the fun reaction. NCT is known for it's Swag, versatility, and experimentation with concepts and sound. It's the reason I love them. They're never run of the mill or boring, and each new configuration of members has it's own flavor. They've all been together for a really long time, and most of them trained together since their teens. So they grew up together literally. I don't know if you've checked out Dream's killing voice yet, but that unit consists of most of NCT'S maknaes (youngest) 1999-2002. They just celebrated their 7th anniversary. They debuted in 2016. Mark Lee is their unit leader. Mark and Jisung (Gee-Sung) the current maknae of all NCT and subunit Dream, just did a Studio Choom mix & max you might like too. Also, Dream had a recent comeback with ISTJ, and I think you'd like 127's last Ay yo and 2 baddies. Take care 💚

golden age is the other title track from their 4th NCT (as a whole) album along with baggy jeans. It includes all of the 20 members. The album is fully made up of NCT U songs with different member combinations. they do these whole NCT albums every couple of years. I definitely recommend listening to the 2023 album
You got the names right, the one you didnt know is Ten he's in the chinese sub-unit, WayV (i really recommend them) and obviously NCT U and he's from Thailand. NCT U is all 20 members and the songs mix and match the members. 'Baggy Jeans' is one of the songs on the new album from NCT 2023 thats called 'Golden Age'. The members in this song are the same members who were in the debut song when NCT debuted in 2016 its called 'The 7th sense' i highly recommend it. NCT is the same thing as NCT U and in an album like this one that has just been released where all the members come together its called NCT and the year which it has been released. There have been 3 other ones NCT 2018, NCT 2020 (which was the best imo), NCT 2021 and now NCT 2023 which is already looking really good

I'm excited for you to get to explore NCT, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV (and also very jealous that you get to experience it all for the first time)!! I don't know if anyone already answered your question, but nct 2023 is for this year's project as a whole group, the song is called golden age (just as the album), there is: nct 2018 (album: empathy), nct 2020 (album: resonance), nct 2021 (album: universe) and now 2023 (album: golden age). when it has the year after nct, it means the song has all of the current members in nct.

NCT 2023 is NCT - insert year - which simply means: it’s the year whenever ALL NCT members participated in a comeback… Whereas NCT U, is individual projects (released singles for NCT album, K-drama soundtracks, collaborations, or whatever special projects) where ANY number of ANY member from ANY sub-unit can be in it depending on what the song requires, how many harmony layers, how many rappers, how many vocalists etc.
Therefore, ALL tracks within NCT 2023’s GOLDEN AGE album (yes there is an MV for GOLDEN AGE if you wish to react to it), wherever and whenever the members and sub-units overlap, are identified as NCT U.
In every full NCT comeback there is always one track where EVERYONE participated, and could be ballad, hard core hip hop, their signature old school RnB, Jazz, Funk, or whatever these experimental kings want to do. GOLDEN AGE is that track for 2023. There are NCT 2018, NCT 2020, NCT 2021 albums as well.
I hope the above is not confusing and helps a little bit to understand the difference between NCT U and NCT (year). And do not worry, based on personal experience NCTzens (their fandom name) are very chill and friendly, helpful and funny, just like their boys here, so your journey of learning will be exciting!

Please do check out the Golden Age album, it's amazing! Since you don't know the members very well I'd recommend looking up who's in what song since it's all NCT U combinations, but either way it's fantastic. NCT have some of the best (if not THEE best imo) music in the entire kpop industry.
