One thing I recently learned whilst cleaning/tidying my space was... When I finish a project, I start a new project... I never clean up or tidy the area. I found a box filled with trays of tools that never got put away after the projects were over. A stack of envelopes that never got thrown out after opening the mail. So lately I've been making a deliberate effort to clean up my mess after each project and not let the stuff pile up to do later... Truthfully, it takes longer to do later because you have to review the pile of stuff, where as if you just took care of it upon project completion, there's no review. So next project, clean up your space before you move to the next and see how satisfying it is to start fresh every project! 💖🌞🌵😷

Getting to decorate and utilize your creativity is totally a stress reliever and helps you be in that happy flow state. It makes TOTAL sense that you enjoy tracking on the pretty pages!
I love the craft book club idea! There are so many great books out there, so would be great to have a sort of 'guide' of great books to read (if that makes sense)
Just finished HB90 and have regained my passion!! I am organizing my notebooks. Creating my writing space, and have learned to be ok with where I am. Q2 will be May and June for me. I am beyond excited!! Thank you Sarra Canon! ♥️
I love this - how organized you are. I have a few planners/notebooks on the go, with intentions of having 1 for CZcams video plans/ideas, 1 for notes on the books I read, 1 for notes on my writing project, 1 for daily life stuff, etc. I find it hard to remember to look in them all! I feel like I need 1 giant book to put everything in so it's all in 1 place, lol! The cacti notebook is cool. I love the colours in it. All the best with your writing reboot; I think you got this!

I am doing well using my journals. It's helping me to cope with my mental health. I am enjoying the Passover holiday.I would use the notebook for my health since I am more symptomatic.
Missed these videos. I have been waiting for this video for a whole week. I am no writer but I enjoy the stationary and the notebooks but I also enjoy the help books part, I don’t know why😂 I also respect Sara and I feel how considerate she is as a human being. For black paper notebooks, I have completely fallen in love with using Sarasa Decoshines. They're metallic, but they write SOOOO smoothly at least on the black paper journals I've been getting from Lights Planner Action.

That productivity planner really caught my eye. I'm very checklist-driven, and the undated pages looks less intimidating. Gonna check that out for my writing. I love seeing all the different kinds of notebooks that you try out. I'm always getting ideas!
I love that you frequently highlight Black books.
I've been feeling very unmotivated and anxious for the last few months, so my main goal for this quarter is to reclaim my happiness. Your videos are always a great motivation
What helped me was taking care not to promise too much too early. That you have a good week doesn't mean you are back in the flow, it might be (and often was) just a spurt. And then people were expecting what I promised and I felt so bad it hindered my writing even more.
So now I just write and not tell anyone and when I am done, they will be happily surprised and that will hopefully make me feel so good that I can dive right into the next story.
Things are going well since I took the HB90 course! I actually self published my 1st book!! I'm so excited to grow in my writing!

I already said this on the coffee chat video, but all the yes to the book club idea! I love the new EC productivity planner to, but I have no idea how to use it. My Q2 is off to a better start than Q1, which was an abysmal failure. While I was going through your fabulous new P&T videos, I decided I needed to make some decisions and am currently working on my logo with Qamber Designs, talking to editors, and getting ready to research cover artists. I was fine until overwhelm set in when I got back from NYC last week. I burned out my Woo and Empathy strengths while I was there and my Input got overloaded. Now I'm dealing with that overwhelm and I'm doing that whole "Who do I think I am writing a book? No one wants to read anything I have to say." thing and I can feel that one voice in my head getting ready to talk smack and urge me to self-sabotage. Oh! And then my wonderful husband decided he wanted to learn how to make biscotti, so now my house smells like a bakery and there are currently three containers of delicious biscotti sitting on my kitchen counter just taunting me to eat them so they can immediately turn into fat cells and migrate to my thighs. It's not like the man doesn't know I want to lose another 20 lbs, (He really is wonderful though, evil baking aside)...Anyway, that's how my Q2 is going. 🤣 And sorry for the all the run-on sentences, but it felt good to write that out. Clearly, I'm a mess!❤

Your journey has been really inspiring to watch. I’m on year seven of college, studying for my doctorate and I am so drained. I’ve lost sight of all my hobbies and your writer reset is helping with my entire life reset that happens to include writing. 😂
yes to craft book bookclub!
Ideas that held me up for a long time:
1) the idea that I needed to wake up at 5am and write for several hours straight... And
2) Outlining, because people are always talking about discovery writing being inefficient.
But I'm not a morning person. I can't write first thing in the morning. My brain is a foggy mess, and caffeine doesn't even help. It might wake me up physically, but I still feel as creative as a tree stump. My best writing times are from 6pm-12am.
And outlines are not for me. Not before I write, and not after. My intuition will take care of the structure if I just get out of its way. I write better when I let my intuitive, creative brain have free rein. As soon as I start trying to force whatever I think should be coming next, my creativity shuts down and the writing becomes a slog.
It took me many years to admit these things about myself. I kept trying to force myself into other peoples' boxes. It's really freeing to finally be in a place where I am comfortable in my routine.
❤ yes please! Love your idea for a read-a-long. I sometimes find myself unmotivated to read nonfiction, and I think if we do book club it could open up another level to glean from one another. Great idea!!

I have SO MANY notebooks with a single page used. You are definitely not alone! That's one reason I love these notebook challenge videos. I get ideas on how I can use my "one-pager" notebooks. :)

I do social media as my career and my hack for creating content calendars is having a folder where I put all my social media worthy content for my clients. Then when I go to schedule/plan the month, I have this folder that I’ve added stuff too throughout previous weeks and months to use as a spring board. It also becomes helpful to avoid going on social media too much. Instead of posting something right away I can add it to that folder to be scheduled at a later time
So glad to hear you took a month to rest after 5 (at least) very busy months! I hope April is full of writing inspiration. Also, a craft book club sounds interesting to me.

Love the idea of a craft book club! This quarter I’m prepping to launch my very first indie pub book! Writing book 2 in the series (wolf shifters in the American Cicil War), and learning how to build up a platform for launch. Terrified and excited.
That's such a cute notebook. My book is actually off with my editor this month, and I am helping my mom who had back surgery this week. In my free time I am reading a craft book and I am playing around with ideas for book 3.

Love the craft notebook. I recently started a productivity self study for the year and this involves reading many newer and more classic books on productivity and time management. I am capturing notes in a similar way but using Notion for my key notes and take aways. I know you have recently started using Notion. Capturing notes this way makes it searchable and easier to reference and categorize in the future. I have a video all about my method if interested. Great video as always. These are my favorite videos to catch every month!
