Don't want to take anything from Anderson. When you look at the numbers it was pretty close with Anderson having a slight lead in most of the metrics. So honestly he earned it and I have no qualms about that. What I find messed up is that 12 voters/writers completely left Carter off of their ballots(Anderson had 5 so I'm curious what the threshold for being a voter is because the bar seems pretty low) and that seems to me a strong indication that "play" wasn't a factor for these "voters" and held what transpired before the season and preseason against Carter, which has nothing to do with his play, should not have even been a factor, and the young man wasn't convicted of any major felonies from a tragic car accident that happened before he even enter the league. That's what I find suspect about this process.
And congrats to Will Anderson for Rookie DPOTY (forgot to put that in my original comment) and Jalen Carter for a strong rookie season. Future looks bright for both of these young gentlemen.
