I lived in the UK, Australia and USA.......being Australian we had similar music as the UK charts, In the USA they never had these great hits, my American husband keeps me updated with that. When this came out in 1980/81, it was so futuristic and mind blowing, like music from another galaxy. 42 years later, it still sounds otherworldly and futuristic. I hope this make sense. We just struggle to make ends meet, until we are the gray elderly ones.

This takes me back to wonderful memories looping around downtown Houston on a Saturday night in a blissful state elevated consciousness while listening to songs like this and Ultravox, and John Foxx, and similar electro-rock artists of the era. This quick path just outside the buildings of downtown gave an experience much like rotating a 3D model, which we were all new to that effect in those days. After about 40 minutes, we would drive into the city streets around 2am, which were a little empty but still full of energy with the downtown clubs closing. With this fantastic music running through our minds and absorbed into our souls we felt like we were living in the future. Magical times!
