They're too unsafe and slow for the roads, but I'm sure they'll be great alternatives to side-by-sides, especially the AWD variants
How are they too slow? Most modern ones will do 70MPH all day long and still get 40MPG. A lot of Kei cars have been modified and sold in other countries. We have some here in Europe and our safety regulations are usually stricter than the US.
Actually, they do make variants with bigger engines, mostly for export markets where they don't have to comply to kei regulations. As for safety, certain models that were meant for export to places like Europe are definitely safe, but models that are not meant for export or only exported to countries without strict safety regulations seem a little sketchy.

Super Spacious. Amazing features and very much affordable budget vehicle. I really like it but when it is being imported to Pakistan almost 30 to 40 % features disappeared by our local teaders 😑

You can install both gps n front n rear view cam . buy it separately n have them installed for warranty. I have done that to our Toyota Gl n Futon traveler lux
