I have had this book for ages I bought two because I knew my daughter would steal it from me like she did another book I bought. I never thought to use coloured markers with it. Amazing would love to see more

I'd love to see you do more of this with different supplies and techniques or styles! I haven’t really done art in a long while because it’s so much pressure to make it “good” in my head, I always do more realistic art and I just sweat in anxiety through the whole process. The end product might be good, but I don’t enjoy the process and what’s the point in a hobby if you don’t enjoy it? This actually looks relaxing and fun, I have to look into doodling and zentangles to see if this could actually get me out of my head.
I recently started drawing during my 45 min bus ride home. Reading, use my phone etc makes me sick but drawing not. I always have so many ideas for drawing or paintings when I’m out. The old microns are so good, but the ones I bought last year weren’t good, they were dead in a few days. Now I’m using the Faber Castell ones, I love the fudenoske brush ones they have now in small and medium sizes.
That's so interesting that you can draw while riding on the bus but not some other things. (A very good type of interesting though!) Also, a couple other comments have expressed some negative feelings about Microns, so you may be on to something about the newer ones lacking in quality. Thanks for reminding me I want to find my Fudenoske set.
I feel like this would be good for an airplane ride or something when you can't bring a million colored pens and pencils. But in general, I prefer traditional color books where I am picking the colors! That's my favorite part of coloring books is having all my pens and pencils and crayons spread out on the table and choosing which colors to use.

It's weird because reading manga on the bus in my way to Japanese class was a must have thing when I was younger, but now I can't even stare at my music player on my phone for too long or all the letters shaking will make me feel ill for a while ^^'
Such a bummer - being able to read while traveling is a great way to pass the time. That sounds similar to my story. I used to play my GameBoy in the car when I was a kid all the time & in high school I would do homework on the bus for soccer games. Now forget it. Forget it all. Haha Thanks for watching btw!

Motion Sickness Club, party of 1, reporting for duty! There was a time where if I was in a car for a "long" time, once it hit the 30 minute mark I would get nauseous. It didn't matter if 10 minutes of that time was just sitting in the car while someone else ran into a store, 30 minutes and I would start feeling sick.

I love Percy! 😂 I’m just starting to watch videos about reverse coloring. I’ll have to get a book for sure. For the first picture, I don’t think that ‘dark moon’ area looks bad. A good rule of thumb (not sure whose rule it is…but I think it might help if you’re unhappy with it…maybe 🤷🏼♀️) is to create an uneven number of focal points. Go back and add two more, smaller areas of more darkly inked spots (is that even semi-good grammar??) It will (or might, maybe 😆) help take away from the larger area and make it seem more purposefully done. I actually love it-love all of them. I can see this will be my newest ‘thing’ to try. Now to watch episode 2.

Has anyone else been excited to use micron pens and then within like 2 weeks of using them they either dry out or break in some way? Like everyone seems to have such good luck with them and can make such nice lines!
It's the tips of the pens. Microns have very _very_ fragile tips so even though it doesn't seem like your pressing too hard, any sort of pressure you put on the pen will damage the tip. Practice using the pen as lightly as possible. The softer you draw with it, the longer the pen will last.
I was also a sufferer of travel sickness, but what I'd do to avoid it was think about other things, so if not in conversation then I'd think of other things, my favourite past time was designing a video game (which I am now in the process of actually creating) idk, thinking up story ideas were also fun
I have really enjoyed it so far. Hope you do too if you try it! 😊 There are so many old videos I completely forgot he made an appearance in - a pleasant surprise when he pops up.

Can definitely relate to the motion sickness in a CAR. I can’t read, write, draw or I get sick. However, I can ride roller coaster no problem. I only experience motion sickness in a car while looking down at something 😭 a can’t use my phone either. I have to watch the road lol

I, too, can't read anything in a moving vehicle. I also get motion sick in cars, buses, trains....I have hydrocephalus. I seriously WANT this color book.
I have TERRIBLE motion sickness in the car. I can't read, I can't play games, I can't even read a map without getting car sick. But one thing I've found that I can do in the car is crochet. I've never heard of a reverse colouring book before, this is a great idea!

I am copy pasting my comment and you should too to spread awareness about scammer Kendra Norton. Until she comes clean publicly, apologize for scaming, apologize to Corla for stealing her idea, returns money she stole from kickstarter... So sad to see almost 2 million subscribers creator supporting this person. You should investigate what she did before supporting her work. She also lied in her Kickstart campaign (that video where she is lying about how this is all her original unique idea was on youtube but she privated it) and never disclosed there are books on the market already by Corla Mcgillivray and other artists. She tried to trademark the term Reverse coloring book to block other artists from using this technique in books. Thankfully USPTO agent put her back where she belongs. But that did not stop her to milk the term "trademark" on her books and in advertisements. She needs to remove all of that now since she doesn't have a trademark, never did. Please read what USPTO agent replied to her application, it is public. She is also now posting how people are copying HER original idea which is really rich coming from her when she took the idea from another REAL artist and tried everything to present it to the world as her own original idea. Kendra Norton had a great idea, but she did all the wrong moves to push her book onto the market. She really needs to give back the money she stole from people on Kickstarter.

Has anyone else been excited to use micron pens and then within like 2 weeks of using them they either dry out or break in some way? Like everyone seems to have such good luck with them and can make such nice lines!
Yes that's why I started using a knockoff dupe from Amazon called Bianyo for the black ones. (I even like them better, shhh)
It's the tips of the pens.
Microns have very _very_ fragile tips so even though it doesn't seem like your pressing too hard, any sort of pressure you put on the pen will damage the tip. Practice using the pen as lightly as possible. The softer you draw with it, the longer the pen will last.

I was also a sufferer of travel sickness, but what I'd do to avoid it was think about other things, so if not in conversation then I'd think of other things, my favourite past time was designing a video game (which I am now in the process of actually creating)

The bent tips are usually a result of your hand position/how you hold it. I am guilty of it as well. 😄❤️
This book will be great for someone recovering from a stroke and having to use their less dominant hand. It looks relaxing and fun.

Can definitely relate to the motion sickness in a CAR. I can’t read, write, draw or I get sick. However, I can ride roller coaster no problem. I only experience motion sickness in a car while looking down at something 😭 a can’t use my phone either. I have to watch the road lol

I, too, can't read anything in a moving vehicle. I also get motion sick in cars, buses, trains....I have hydrocephalus. I seriously WANT this color book.
I have TERRIBLE motion sickness in the car. I can't read, I can't play games, I can't even read a map without getting car sick. But one thing I've found that I can do in the car is crochet. I've never heard of a reverse colouring book before, this is a great idea!
