I used to think keepers just hit the ball long in general direction. Then I saw Newcastle's Shay Given before kick off kicking the ball to his trainer on warm up.
ALL of his long balls were max. 2 yards from his trainer from like 80 yards away. I was absolutely amazed as a kid seeing that.
Raya gets a lot of hate because he’s not english but he has really impressed me this season. His passing, catching crosses and starting counterattacks are all better than ramsdales imo. His shot stopping ability I haven’t really seen this season so I would have to give that characteristic to ramsdale.
He could have represented England is has Dual Nationality since he trained in England for like 6 years like even listen to his accent
