Every managing partner every two minutes : "we're under attack"
Really missed Jessica in the later seasons. She would've put everyone in their place.
Jessica wouldn’t have done nothing against Samantha and Robert, as much as I like Jessica. Samantha only answered to Robert.
@@twandriessen9503 Jessica as Managing Partner was a force to reckon with. She even shut down Robert when they went against each other and she always put the firm's interest above all.
@@twandriessen9503 that's.....a dubble negative?
For realllllll
@@twandriessen9503lol Jessica would’ve eaten Samantha for breakfast
6:35 There’s an important scene in the middle where Louis and Harvey talk about the situatuon and decide “ok, enough is enough, let’s give Samantha what she asks you to do, and then take the fight to her” more or less
Incredibly unprofessional firm. Alex and Samantha should’ve declared the conflict to their clients - if the clients were ok, then they could’ve fought it out to the best of their abilities. Instead they try to make the matter go away for the firm’s personal interests, not the client’s best interests.
Alex literally declared the conflict as soon as Gavin stated who it was against, and Samantha i guarantee informed hers as well
4:25 till 2020
And now that was 4 years ago
If I remember correctly Alex won and Samantha went crying to the patriarch Robert to get her name on the wall
I don't mind the character of Samantha. They needed a strong female lead since Jessica left. I just don't feel that Katherine Heigl was the best choice to play the role. Every character seemed to have a "trauma" that formed their character traits and you could always sense that behind the facade, which made each of them more human and likeable. With Katherine, I just don't think she really brought that to Samantha's character.
Samantha character is absolutely unbearable
+1
+1
Samantha broke privilege which caused the lawsuit conflict in the first place. It should entirely be on her to resolve it even at her own downfall.
She 100% should've taken the recuse and be lucky she wasn't fired for the mayhem she caused.
Her trying to claim "Patriarchy" afterwards just shows the hubris in her character.
Samantha was trying to be Jessica so bad but Jessica would have put her in her place Day 1
These lawyers and ceo act like children, is everyone rich that immature?
Yep... look at our billionaires.
Dude that's how the world works. When were you last outside haha
Nope, they're more calm and reasonable, but the show wouldn't be like it is if there wasn't drama
yeah, they are super calm and reasonable. just look at elon.
Everyone is so serious and badass lol....Please try to make the characters more human-like lol.
Bro this series ended years ago
Well that’s how the industry is 🤷🏻♀️
Like the original
Sorry but that “hello” is Gus 🍍
First half of clip I thought this was a Psych scene
Saaaame
I've heard it both ways
especially since the actor who played gavin andrews was also a guest star on psych lol
Samantha was not needed in Suits.
She was an unnecessary character.
And brings up useless drama (patriarchy).
@@Calibrex_Gaming Sure, that much I'll give you, but how hollow would it have felt if Robert Zane was the only person we got to meet from the merger? Besides, I kinda liked that we had someone headstrong and arrogant to join the team, but in a way that felt...different...from Harvey.
@@castleoffiction96 sounds like a writing issue to focus on those 2 then. The shows doesn’t focus on anyone who won’t climb, so they are the only logical characters. She’s the cliche ‘strong’ female. Can be done differently with others or the same. Again, it’s the writing
@@Calibrex_Gaming I suppose, I'm getting tired of every strong female character being written off as stereotypical or Mary Sue. I mean, let's not forget her weak spot. In a world where everyone else in the world has embraced the concept of family, we got someone for whom that quality is, well, fundamentally flawed.
Samantha ain't S rank, to be sure, but she's not C either. I'd go for A-
@@castleoffiction96problem was her character was excessively conflictive and the mayhem she brought in would've gotten any other lawyer fired.
She broke privilege and encouraged one client to sue another. The damage on the firm if a settlement wasn't made would be catastrophic to the firms reputation.
I really liked Dule Hill in Psych. Didn't realize until this show what a wooden actor he is.
Lol yea he’s always same person in everything
Wow samantha is a bully and im axtualy glad she was sacked
Looking very nice.
She brought patriarchy in this…..lost all credibility
Being a lawyer is awful, how do they manage the stress, it is all fights
Alex speaks really fast it annoys me. Like a 2 minute scene would be done under 30 seconds when he spits all the scripts in the first 10 secs
I don’t know if that’s an unpopular opinion, but Alex is a bad actor
The worst lol
He wasn’t bad in Psych, but I’d have to agree….this role wasn’t his best 😬
Samantha was even worse lol
AND SO IS SAMANTHA
Samantha is waay to hard and looks hard
Idk how y’all just bash Samantha and not Alex. Literally only had 1 valuable client mentioned in the show and spent 90% of his appearance being blackmailed by his past prison mistake or shady buisness that Gavin brought up which Samantha warned multiple times in the show
Its not that its how bad is character written. Right here this clip is perfect example you have "strong" girl boss talking nonsense about patriarchy yet in every second scene crying on Robert shoulder. Jessica was strong female lead Samantha is just insufferable.
Samantha was an unnecessary character and Alex was an underutilized one.
I really don’t like Samantha’s role here! If Jessica was still there she won’t exist at all.
Samantha was one of the worst characters of the show. "Because I'm better than him", literally the only way she could win was by breaking laws and privilege, every case she handled on the show
I don't know when it happened but it seems the minute Jessica left this series turned into a night time soap opera... everyone is just backstabbing everyone and doing shady deals and breaking the law it's horrible
Alex and Samantha were both such horrible characters. Insufferable on both sides.

boooooooo kathryn heigle boooo
Whenever I hear the word "patriarchy" I ignore everything else.
Anyone else really liked Samantha? She was badass but super caring
No. She was unbearable
She was a feminist chutiya
I liked her, she could be over the top at times but so were others in this show, characters can be great in some episodes and unbearable in others
@@zerostriker6385 yeah exactly
AS A WHITE WOMAN, SAMANTHA WOULD GO UP AGAINST THE BLACK LAWYER
Everything about Samantha is always feminist bullsht
