The fact that Scott gave you this game and then donated so much to make you keep playing makes me think he likes what you do, but enjoys seeing you suffer. Also, if I ever need another user name for something, I am totally using "Slap Dummy".
I feel bad because I found John's slow descent into insanity hilarious.
WOW, SCOTT! WHAT A GUY! My sister works at Children's hospital of Dallas, on the gastro floor, and she aspired to work there after our family had to spend a few years there before and witnessed first hand how wonderful it is. It is a VERY elite institution, in the top 10 globally, and they do EVERYTHING they can to make sure that they not only take excellent care of their patients and do as much as possible to enrich their lives and their minds - making sure they can enjoy their stay as much as one can AND even learn what they can while they're there - they also try their best to accommodate parents and families to the point that parents can even _live_ there with their inpatient children when necessary. But even better, Children's of Dallas goes out of their way to ensure that they are fully equipped to deal with _anything and everything_ that comes their way. As soon as they find out about any new or rare or newly discovered disease, or other kind of problem that can affect their patients (even if it's not always medical-related), they go out and find as many specialists as they can, and if no specialists exist, they find top-tier doctors and researchers to _become_ specialists. This is a VERY worthwhile charity. The doctors are amazing, the nurses are amazing, all of their staff is amazing and world class. THANK YOU JOHN for choosing Children's of Dallas for your charity. And WOW thank you Scott for that whopping, unbelievable donation!! Yall are good people.
When I read the subtitle of this video and the fact that John played it for over an hour, I was hopeful for a smart indie take on Inferno.

Seriously, we live in a world where those who success with their own effort and merits are hated for still unexplained reasons.
People hate success. They compare their lives to whom ever is doing better, and many times they find that they cant produce a reason why this has happened (the disparity). CLEARLY to them this person either cheated, or was given a better deal than the rest. I am not a fan of FNAF, im just not for it, but i love Scott for what he has done with criticism of his past titles, taking the negativity placed on his works, and spinning it into something that serves him. There is a lot to respect in a man that can make things happen. If he is going to flash his wealth, he might aswell spend it on the needy and get some positive press rather than buy 600$ shoes and a 500$ chain wallet like most would do with the same affluence. Like honestly... even if he did it for the "wrong reason" like some idiots claim, it did good for some one else who likely has no idea who Scott is.

But did he get his money back? I am pretty sure in the last stream I watched it was still under 15k....maybe he just wanted to spend 25€....I looked at it again...the donation counter changed from 10k to 12k and 15k with just the 2,5k donation and Scott is still in the list
You're correct it did look a little sketchy. But, I really like to think there are people like that out there with that kind of income and generosity.
the counter counted it twice but there was only a single donation - that's why streams after were under 15k. So, no he didn't get the money he donated back because he donated 2.5k. The counter was the only thing in error.

Yeah, the counter did count it twice. It was at 10,156.69, then it silently jumped to 12,656.69. A couple seconds passed, THEN the donation appeared at the top with the laughter sound effect, and the counter added it again. So as far as the display goes, it looks like 25500$ was definitely donated, but the _total of 15k_ was incorrect. That is such a massive donation that it makes me wonder if he didn't accidentally add an additional digit or something, but I know some people save up money to make one big donation every now and then rather than small donations more often... I dunno. Either way, yay charity donations!

John has easily become a top 5 favorite CZcamsrs for me in recent years. Not only do I love the content, but it’s so refreshing to have a creator that doesn’t just act manic and crazy for the views, but instead offers insightful thoughts and interesting commentary

So, in the intro, those lamps were from an asset pack called Vintage lamps or something along those lines, it is a free asset pack. The monsters I have never seen before. The chromatic aberration looks to be from Unitys Post Processing Stack, which terrifies me as it looks like the only effect they used throughout the game was chromatic aberration, and they likely used depth of field to blur things at the end (bear I mind, this stack also allows for bloom, colour grading, ambient occlusion, grain, vignette, and a number of other effects. The stack is also free...
I guess you can call Chap 12 The Highway to Hell.
23:30 It seems like the campfire noise effect is placed locally at each campfire object, and the effect radius extends in the y-direction indefinitely, so the higher you go, the more campfire noises are stacked on top of each other... interesting...

Sounds like a variation of the theme song for "Chariots of Fire," at least before the real song's drum lines starts. Can't remember whether it was this one or another one in this game that reminds me of the theme song, and am not gonna go thru the vid of this crappy game. Mind ye, John's vid itself is ok, it's just the game itself is crappy. The game dev pretty much broke almost every rules on what not to do, ...including a few that never had occured to me until now!

I think my favorite jank in this one, is that the enemies' attack animations don't actually do anything. The dev just put a damage field around the enemies. Its why the damage has been so inconsistent.
