I like how these instructions for Canva were clear and helpful. like changing the size of the photo grids and tips about adding the picture in the photo well.

New. I have used Canva but never for digital scrapbooking. I love Canva. I've also used photopea for digital art.

Hi Amy, I'm new-I discovered you during the Creative Spark Summit. I'm an avid Canva user and recently started a template scrapbook for a club I'm involved in. I usually use 12 x 12 style.
Kathy, welcome to the Creativity Playground! I'm so happy that we met through the awesome Creative Spark Summit. I'm working on a variety of Canva templates now, as well. I want to continue using 12x12 layouts for my existing scrapbooks and then use some of the smaller sizes to tell the stories of my travels or random memories I want to keep that don't really fit into the categories of my other scrapbooks. 🖖🏼
I am new and looking forward to learning more. I have never made a digital version. I am mainly leaning to use Canva for sublimation purposes but would like to learn about digital scrapbooking.

I use Canva for thumbnails.
I love Canva for CZcams thumbnails, as well. I used the pro version to quickly remove the background of my screen shot from the video. I did end up taking that image into Photoshop. 😁
I’m new. I work mainly in 6x8 as my books are altered Little Golden Books.
Melissa, I absolutely love using text as a design element so bet your altered books are adorable. I know that some people don't like the idea of altering books, but I think it is an incredible way to up-cycle something that may be discarded. Thanks for watching my video! 🖖🏻
12x12 and 8x8
Michelle, when I was a paper scrapbooker, I only did double-page 12x12 layouts. I'll definitely do more 12x12 in future videos as I have lots of albums to finish. :-) The good news is that the template from this video will easily convert to an 8x8 layout if you desire.
As far as the number of photos...It depends on my mood that day.
So true! I would say mood and the number of photos I took. Sometimes I have so many and can't decide which ones I want to use. LOL! 🖖🏼
I'd probably do 8.5 x 11.
Yeah, I like anything 8.5x11 and under for digital scrapbooking. I do have some 12x12 digital layouts, but I think I prefer traditional layouts in the larger sizes. 🖖🏼
