Absolutely love the 1:1 house pics in BnW. I do use that square in camera on Z7ii often. I find in street photography with 20mm it can be really interesting in square. Some might wonder why not crop in post…but I think seeing in 1:1 and as you said in BnW, one’s composition adapts to what one sees in the EVF.

I still have both my Yashica 124G and my Hasselblad 500C. In fact I made some images this evening with the 500C on E100 film of flowers in my backyard. I’ve never had any issues using the square format. Face it is hip to be square

Great content per usual, Jules. I have found that the Mirrorless Z bodies do well shooting Monochrome. First time I tried it on my Z7 I was impressed with the output. I will have to try the square format. Not sure if the Z7 has that aspect choice? Take care and stay well Jules!
