    You can see from Ted Flett that he dislikes Hanyu so much haha. He was on the Chen hype train so much. It is funny to hear Chen wasn't afraid of the pressue and limelight, when he chocked both his Worlds and Olympics 2018. Thank god Yuzuru won that Worlds and he defended his Olympic title, too. He is also the first male Super Slam holder, plus he has 19 world record which is crazy.

    LOL I sense your frustration with Hanyu's 4S3T [smiling face with tears] "Y'know, just ROTATE it" Yeah I'm with you on that one, please Hanyu, please rotate and land your stuff wonderfully.

    "something's got to give" -- you jinxed them! ;) I second that a recap is much needed -- would love to hear your thoughts on this crazy banana pants worlds competition.

    Well you guys were right cause Scot fell but I'm happy they still won! Worried though for them going into next season though as I already hear people claiming that their win was unfair and that PC were robbed.

    Great preview guys. I don't mind if Nathan wins this years World title, if Yuzuru can win the Olympics next year! ;-) For dance, I'd go 1. VM 2. Shibs 3. PC. Hope you do a recap of Worlds too!

      Thanks Jess! :) We will do a recap of Worlds as soon as we can. Enjoy the competition, and stay tuned! :)

      Jess W. If Nathan wins this year it will only make it more difficult for Yuzuru to defend his Olympic title.

      Thank God Yuzu won both the Worlds and the Olympics next year. 2-time individual champion - truly the GOAT :)

    Can you do a video if you think Yuna Kim deserved the gold in 2014 and if she will ever get her gold down the years.

    • @TheBladeBoys
      @TheBladeBoys  Před 7 lety

      Hi there! That competition was over 3 years ago, so we probably won't. The argument can be made for Kim winning, or Sotnikova winning, or Kostner winning. Let's just say, Kim doesn't need to get her gold down the years, because she already got her gold in 2010 and is an Olympic champion! :)

    When c/l got that one point deduction at euros that made b/s the winner of the SD people were like "this is the Russian push! B/s will win euros and set themselves up for Olympics!" But then the free dance happened and they didn't even win silver! B/s went down to bronze. So the Point is Russia may be pushing but no one is listening! They couldn't even win euros or be the second team in Europe. I guess Italy is more powerful than Russia is in ice dance now? Russia is all ladies now and ice dance is really dead as a discipline now that gets world or even gpf medals. So b/s will be lucky to be in final flight and lucky to be in top 10 and s/b nowhere near top 10. I think with s/b SD being called mostly level 2 in euros of all places they are done. They have no future. Level 2 teams have no future. One of their step sequences in the euros free dance was also level one.

    I'm definitely rooting for Nathan Chen to win the gold. Although I love Javi, too. I'm with Ted in hoping that C/B beat the Shibs for that Bronze Medal place. That would be SO awesome!! And I agree with Ted's placement of Chen, Hanyu and Javi for the men. We'll have to see. Looking forward to it. :)

      Yeah it should be a great competition! So many quads and not the easiest to predict with such ambitious technical difficulty planned!

    I bet, Yuzuro will fell if he try the 5 squads just to catch up with Nathan.

      I'm sorry, but Yuzuru doesn't have to catch up with anyone. He's the GPF winner for four years in a row and most skating experts agree that he's the greatest skater in history.

    • @thangvuong9196
      @thangvuong9196 Před 7 lety

      Muriel Vittori Perhaps you're right for this year, but next year barring injury Nathan will improve and if Yuzuru wants to defend his Olympic title he has to be consistent with his quads.
