That's unfortunate. Yelling "White Power" is a serious, serious racial slur. I think that we can all agree on this. Conversely, yelling "Black Power" is perfectly fine and should be encouraged. On that note, let me tell you what happened to me a few years ago on a cold Chicago night in January. I decided that I would walk to my local Subway store for a sammich. Seemingly out of nowhere, two white guys approached me. It was 1:30am. Next thing I know, they put on these red MAGA hats and produced a noose and a bottle of bleach. I was beaten up pretty badly but able to escape to the nearest po-lice station...still wearing the noose. The rest is history.

I have a white male patient that was attacked at an ATM machine by two black guys at 12am in the morning, beaten to a pulp, which created a TBI, traumatic brain injury. Guy has limited speech and wheelchair bound for life.. I guess the moral to yours, and his story is that it’s not safe for anyone after midnight, and you take more life risks at that time of the morning.. But, you can’t trade one form of hate for another!! Equality is what a decent, and moral, society should strive for and not putting one group of people above another for any reason!!

Part of my sarcasm was rooted in pure hypocrisy. That is, in today's strange world, yelling "White Power" (or the like) will trigger all kinds of snowflakes to call one a "racist"; while, hypocritically, yelling "Black Power" is widely accepted and even...encouraged. No? Yes! I am absolutely correct. Secondly, the story about me in Chicago didn't happen to me, or...anyone. It was the story of a barely noticeable actor by the name of Jussie Smollet. Mr. Smollet, a gay black man, had a hate-on for former President Trump and anyone who supported him and I suspect white people in general. In order to draw attention to himself and to propel his disdain for anything "MAGA", he told the story I just repeated, above. I'm shocked that you are not aware of this and hope that you adopt a posture of situational awareness so that you have a clue about current events. Lastly, I am sorry to hear about your patient. Unlike Mr. Smollett's story, the one you described is, I'm sure, quite accurate and truthful. And that, my friend, was my point exactly in the original post.

I wish I could play the guitar like Ana Vidovic or Cristina Galietto but it is NEVER going to happen. I wish I could lift 1,200 pounds like Eddie Hall but that will never be. I did earn two science degrees (way back when a college education meant something more than a glorified high school) but I will never have as sharp an intellect as my oldest daughter. The facts are laid out in this book and it is very clear that we are definitely not created equal in talent, IQ, industriousness, innovation or anything else. The only thing we can be equal in is VALUE to God and only IF the God of the Bible exists, otherwise there is no standard for any type of equality.
