Just a comment about a good come back from an older lady who was parked legally on a street answering a text. A cop came up to her and asked her why she was sitting there. She asked if she was doing anything wrong and he said someone had reported a suspicious car. She said “well I can help you with that, I’ve been with this car all day and it has absolutely done nothing suspicious” she is 85 and it made me laugh.

Make this IGNORANT and ARROGANT poor excuse for a cop do his own work - don't help him: Always stick together - they will try and isolate you and therefore bring more intimidation: KEEP ON asking for his ....Name and Badge no. - DON'T let him off the hook for his blatent disregard for this legal obligation - and being totally unprofessional. You can then say that as he hasn't identified (not just properly, but at all!) then he's NOT a cop and you can ignore him. (He won't respect what you're doing, so with discretion of course!).
