Of course, it would make sense to have someone who grew up as a fan, did the old school way of training, ate cans of pork and beans for dinner every night because that's all he could afford to eat, worked the independents for exposure, tucked it in between his legs during his rookie days to learn from the veterans, started working for the rival before finding his home.

Trips has been everything there is to be in WWE so it’s only natural that he’d be the great leader he is today he was grinded molded and shaped in this business he knows all there is and the fact this man is the creative mind behind WWE today makes me happy
Under Triple H, WWE will thrive. He gets it. We can have the big celebs participating without it feeling too cookie cutter. Hes big on both story telling and work rate. The old WWE with cheap comedy and pandering is gone. Trips wants to turn WWE into a sporting event. And he cares about what the fans want. And I'm glad to be here for it.

Stadium shows are fantastic for aesthetic packaging. If the stadiums are available overseas, im all for it because it builds bigger stars+cultural footprint

The whole Grand Prix of Nxt that he wants to build would further this stuff too. You’d have international stars learning tv while also eating into the untapped market that the indie’s have a hold of too.
It makes a ton of sense because your going to a market that's not jaded, if say judgement day or backlash is in New York or Florida or pretty much any big American city it's not that big of a deal overseas its huge because it doesn't happen that often, also with the fact that WWE is largely out of the ppv business and everyone can watch on demand the time difference isn't as big an issue anymore shows like this are special. Would love to see the royal rumble or Summerslam come back to Wembley or one of the big London Stadiums that would be huge.

Started watching wrestling in 1999 when I was about 4 years old. Clash at the Castle was the first wrestling event I've been too and I was so happy to have experienced it in my hometown.
good crowds can make a good ppv a great ppv. clash at the castle was a really good show top to bottom, but the energy that the crowd had throughout the event made it that much more enjoyable to watch
It was AMAZING to watch online; I think some results were changed bc of it. Bailey, Seth, it was unreal
I was there and it was wonderful, but now I kinda want to watch SummerSlam 92, then watch the TV version of Clash to see which was better.
Either way, it’s top 2 U.K. show, but off the top of my head, SummerSlam might edge it slightly?
It takes a 6 out of 10 to a 8 out of 10 event not that clash was it was honestly a 9 out of 10 but it was 10 out 10 with the crowd. To me that's the perfect event, hot open, decent amazing ic title match, I really liked the liv match, and what a main event, imo wrong winner but I get it

For someone that experienced the in-ring of Wrestling, I'm glad he's in charge of WWE. This conference proved how he really has a passion for the sport and he wants the fans to be happy and be themselves because he understands it's for Entertainment.
Just the way he answered all those questions in such a positive manner shows his character as a human. He understands that people that give it their all in the training deserves opportunities despite their non-wrestling background.
His forehead wrinkles are also massive which is sweet

I was there , there was actually a big mix of nationalities from all over europe , I met english, Scottish , Irish, French , German Italian ect at the show we don't get much stadium PPVs in europe so alot of fans traveled for it , it also brought 22m into the welsh economy we're only a antion of 3m so it was a great success hope they come back, wales is the only UK nation to have a retractable just incase it rains so that might lure them to have another show there over Wembley in England which only has a partially retractable roof

I met HHH back in 2018 interning at WWE headquarters. While he played on of the biggest heels of all time, in reality he’s a friendly dude. Does his corporate job with pride, and its good to know WWE was put in good hands

I have nothing but faith in HHH as a lifelong fan of WWE. This man was a top level talent during the entirety of the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras. Regardless what is said about his connection with the McMahons, he is still one of the greatest in ring competitors to put on a pair of boots. His level of ring IQ and psychology to put on a story is unparalleled. I have nothing but faith in his process.

People will argue that the territories were better, that WWE stole a lot of the ideas from the territories (mainly Jim Cornette) but that was the biggest era of money to be made in wrestling history because of what WWF at the time was able to accomplish. Greatest roster of talent in any promotion. The fact that the Hardys came in as enhancement talent for years and ended up becoming legends pretty much solidifies all that needs to be said.

I was surprised to see them doing an after show press thing but I'll give Trips credit he's much better at this then most out there, the show was fine, I think minor fixes need work b4 I watch raw/smackdown again but this had positive vibes.

Wrestlings place in pop culture probably peaked in the Attitude era, but I could see them potentially reaching 3 million weekly viewers again, assuming the shows are good.

This new culture of WWE under Triple H was very much needed. I'm sure Vince still keeps a very tight-knit watch/handle on certain things...but under the Helm of Hunter Hirst, everything feel's refreshing behind his creative mind. Haven't watched a full PPV in a long while, and "Clash of the Castle" was awesome. The variety in ring work shocked me with each match, from story telling spots, to big audience spots, etc. Great time to be a wrestling fan all around.

I saw a WWE event an episode of Raw live way back in April 2006 at Wembley Arena. Triple H, Cena and Edge vs the Spirit squad, was the main event. Still get good vibes now thinking about it. 16 years later Triple H is taken WWE to a level that will help WWE be the greatest again.

I grew up in the attitude era, stop watching wwe around 2002ish? Having triple h in control got me very excited!
Man maybe now is the time to get back into wwe. I stepped back a bit after the new era took over and watching hunter address these questions just shows wwe is in the best hands possible. I couldn’t be happier I think they just regained a devoted fan

I actually set to myself about a decade ago that I would have liked Shane McMahon to take over from Vince. But after seeing the way the company has been going the past couple years I think Triple H and Stephanie are the right ones to take the company forward.

HHH wrestled at TerraRyzing (sp?) for Killer Klawaolski's school of Wrestling in the early 90's. I met him at a show in Bellingham, MA. I was 19. He talked with me for a long time and have been a fan since. He's really not changed. WWE is in great hands.

@@tyleradams18 everyone is entitled to their opinion. But to answer your question they happened but none of those ppv were on the level of this one. Every match was worked masterfully at telling the story in the ring. That has been severely lacking in the wwe for years.

First time attending a show and it was an amazing experience, my voice right now, is just like Tom’s from Cultaholic.
And not to shamelessly plug my channel, but I took a chair to the back from a dude dressed as Dude Love and I gotta say, mad respect to the men and women in the ring, who take the bumps they do, especially Gunther and Sheamus, no doubt will be feeling it today.
