Listen to songs of Jayasimha, Krishna nee kunidaaga, Nee bareda kadambari. The music for this movie was 100% composed by VIjayanand. You may be a Rahman fan but don't spread wrong information giving credit for your idol stealing someone else's intellectual property in this case VIjayanand's. This song particularly is of the same class as "Beat it" by MJ.

Dwarakish claims that AR Rahman did most of the works for the songs and background score. Some say that the tunes were also by Rahman and Vijay Anand did not do any work at all. I am not 100% sure what's the truth.
Those who know Vijay Anand from near tell that Vijay was pretty talented and did the tunes. And Rahman did the music arrangement.
Rahman was doing such work for many composers in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. He had one Maruti Omni and used to come with his small team and limited electronic instruments and do all the works.
Rahman worked under Vijay Anand for many other movies too. Check the songs and music of "inspector Vikram" (shivarajkumar movie) and that has the stamp of Rahman. Rahman worked as assistant for Ilayaraja, Vijay Anand and Raj Koti.
Dwarakish claims that he had recognise the talent of Rahman back then. But he did not give chance to Rahman. People will tell I am your close relative, if we succeed. But if we fail, nobody cares!
